“No Problems”
Convenient location, friendly staff. Room was clean. Continental breakfast was pretty meager, but hey, it was free. Can't ask for more at this price!
“Horrid experience!”
The hotel staff was extremely rude and unfriendly. The hotel itself smelled of death. We had some random person banging on our door at 6 in the morning and they would not leave. When I called the front desk they told me to deal with it, so I had to call the police. In the morning I called down to ask for more towels and was told to find a member of the cleaning staff and they would have some. They say you get what you pay for but even for a cheaper rate I would still expect some sort of professionalism. I strongly recommend you find somewhere else to stay.
“Good Value”
Rooms were a little small but fine if you are looking for a clean room at a good price! We were in town for the Twins game and it was perfect for us, we were not there to spend a lot of time in the room. Bed and T.V were nice bathroom was a little small and a little outdated. Very short drive into downtown K.C and the power and light district.
“Inexpensive place”
Inexpensive place to stay
“Good price for a night stay.”
Its affordable, the rooms were clean. The continental breakfast wasn't good. Not bad for a night of stay.
“Not really impressed”
The room 'was' clean but very small and not carpeted; it had a wood floor (cold in the wintertime). There was no closet/cabinet in the room for hanging clothes, only a rod in one corner with hangers. The heating/AV unit was rather high up on the wall (right next to the hanging rod) which made it difficult for me to see &/or access the setting knobs. And when the unit was ON it was rather noisy -- it woke me up during the night a few times. Would basically recommend the hotel to someone more so because of its price & location -- it was inexpensive for a one-night stay & within a mile where I needed to be the next morning.
“Not so Hot!”
The main HWY exit to the hotel was closed, along with the next 3-4 exits, I know this is not their fault, but it surely was inconvenient. The location was not great, but it wasn't bad either. The parking lot could of used a few more lights. The hotel was broken when we got there but they were really nice to move us to the closest available room which was in the second floor. The room was clean but not very spacious. Overall it was an ok hotel and the price was more reasonable than the rest of them.
“Ok for the price”
I thought this was fine for our purposes - a hotel for a convention, kind of at the last minute. We enjoyed the breakfast room. Nice danishes, waffles, instant oatmeal and cereal - orange juice and coffee. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The temperature controls worked fine, and the hotel was fairly quiet. It was in a sort of industrial area, but for us, that didn't matter so much. We found what we needed not many blocks away.
“Nothing fancy but all that we needed.”
It took some time locating our hotel because the hotel name on our reservation was different than the actual hotel name. Once we found it, we were treated courteously and were checked into our room in just a short amount of time. The room was a bit small, as was the bathroom, but we were just needing a place to sleep for one night and this room fit the bill. There was nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness, everything was spic and span. The hot a cold water was reversed on the sink, but we could deal with that. The continental breakfast was pretty sparse. Not much choice. That, however, was not a big priority to us. Everything worked out just fine.
