Comfortable affordable

Posted Dec 23, 2014
Pros: Large enough to accomidate two adults and three children
Cons: Breakfast was a c and the parking area was littered with trash
Location: Overall location is good although parking was a challenge.
Extended our stay to finish Christmas shopping. over all a good experience. The breakfast was not worth the effort of getting up for. The lady who checked us in stood at the front door smoking. When we left for the evening we had to take the kids thru a bunch of smoke that flooded the entry way when it was opened. Overall the stay was good

Inexpensive and 10 minutes from JCC

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by the ample kitchenette. The bed was not hard like they are at other motels. They provide a "grab and go" breakfast.
Cons: Replace the inoperable phone. Provide disposable plates/bowls and silverware.
Location: Close to JCC and I-435.
Noisy neighbors whooping it up in the hall late at night kept me from falling asleep. There was no one at the front desk for over a half hour the next morning and the door to the room with coffee and breakfast was locked. My key card didn't work in the lock so I was delayed in my departure. The phone in the bedroom did not work.

Good location and Clean

Posted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: The kitchenette area was well set-up and had a very good layout with bar and stools on the end.
Cons: Window screen repairs needs to be made. Our screen was torn and flapping in the wind. The seat and ottoman in the room were quite worn & had tears.
Location: Great location for families visiting Children's Mercy South and the Leawood / Overland Park area.
Easy check-in. Nothing fancy but clean. Some worn down furniture. No pool or "fun stuff" for kids, but good location. Easy access to the nearby children's hospital and Leawood area eating and shopping. For longer stays, the kitchenette area had a good layout with a small bar and two stools on the end for eating. We used it to play games too.

Pros: Check-in staff very nice
Cons: Basic room features to include coffee pot, cups or glasses, hair dryer
Staff was great; room was ok, but disappointing because there was no coffee pot, cups or glasses at all in the room. No hair dryer either.

Impressive Poster

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: clean and staff was friendly
everything was okay but I was most impressed by a poster in the elevator which showed an attractive lady in a chemo care cap which stated that they have donated 40,000 rooms to people receiving cancer treatment. Impressive!

Excellent for extended stay

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Room had everything one would need, a mini kitchen, full-size frig, etc.
Cons: Changing sheets and room service cost additional money! The hotel has no attentive security. A stranger could walk in, with no problem!!!
The hotel is much better than expected. Room had everything one would need, a mini kitchen, full-size frig, etc. Changing sheets and room service cost additional money! The hotel has no attentive security. A stranger could walk in, with no problem!!!

Nice people, bad hotel

Posted Nov 23, 2014
I booked almost a week in advance. then when i got there they said there is no rooms the size i booked. I got a different room and it was old and we had to request cooking and dinning item. On top of that. it was supposed to be a smoke free place and the room stank of the stuff so bad that my wife smelled it on my clothe when i got home the next day. Sarah at the check desk was vary friendly. There was no remote for the tv and the toilet seat came off the toilet after the second use. All in all I would not stay there again

Mediocre

Posted Nov 22, 2014
We had to change rooms when we got there dye to a stained blanket and hair shavings on the thermostat. The front desk clerk Sarah wasn't rude but she also wasn't very professional. When I called to complain of the uncleanliness of the room, she answered the phone chewing something and took 45 min to accommodate our room change. I will not be back. Overall It was affordable and a quiet nights rest.
