“Worth every penny!”

“Very Nice & Very Clean Hotel”

We were very impressed with the neatness and extreme cleanliness of our room, including the bathroom. Our room always smelled clean and sterile. The bed was very comfortable. It was a nice surprise that our room included a fridge and microwave oven, since these items were not listed in the room features when we booked our reservation online. The daily free continental breakfast was wonderful; we were impressed with the variety of foods that were offered. Also, the hotel staff were all very nice and friendly - very customer oriented!

Must see

Our main reason for going to Kansas City was to see the World War I Museum. This is one of the most awesome museums that we have gone to, and the museum does a WONDERFUL job of honoring all those millions of people who served in the "forgotten war." There is so much to see and to read that you will want to plan a full day to spend at the museum. We are history buffs, and one of our relatives was a WWI veteran, so that's why this museum is extra-special to us. For those of you who do not know much about WWI, the museum displays and the films do a great job in explaining the who, what, where, when, why, and how. The volunteers who work at the museum are all wonderfully nice and helpful with any questions that a visitor might ask. We are proud that our home state of Missouri has such a fine museum!

“I'd stay here again”

It's a great place to stay on a budget. It was perfectly adequate, but it wasn't as nice as other Fairfield's I've stayed in.

“Great Location, Free Parking, Free wifi, Free breakfast”

I was running the half marathon portion of the Kansas City marathon so I wanted a hotel that was close to Crown Center so I could walk there in the morning of the race to avoid traffic and parking congestion. This hotel was perfect for that. It's an easy 10 minute walk to Crown Center. It's easily as nice as either of the more "upscale" hotels attached to Crown Center, but really at those places you just end up paying for the name. None of those locales offered basic perks like free parking, breakfast, or in room wifi access. The Fairfield Inn is thoughtful enough not to gouge you for these things. I would easily recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the downtown KC area.

“Did the trick”

Nice atmosphere, newly remodeled, would have been nice if they had shuttle service to the baseball stadium though, which was the whole reason for the trip.
