We booked this property because they had a hot tub. After a long day on the road, we went to check in and the hot tub was not working. We asked for a discount with no reply from the person at the registration desk.

Our front desk does have it posted that the hot tub is down, and should have verbally reminded you at check in. The manager lied to me saying that she was going to give me a free night at a Marriott hotel and that was supposed to be done and it hasn't been done. I would never stay a that place. Plus, the pool and hot tub was not working either. And that why we stayed there.

The staff we encountered were great, but the facility itself left a lot to be desired. The hot tub was closed for yearly maintenance and the pool was tiny. The hot water would shut off several times while you were in the shower and the bathroom design was small and cramped. We were on the first floor and the curtains were sheer so people could see in.

The hot tub was not usable. The heater for the pool was broken. The rooms were not cleaned thoroughly and the staff were not very knowledgeable. The staff was literally arguing over how to check in a customer when I was attempting to check in. I do not recommend.

After I booked the room i sent a message to Fairfield inn to ensure my rooms were handicap accessible, they said they would put add it to my portfolio. I assume that meant they would get me an accessible room or let me know if it was available. Apparently it did not. Once we got there I was told they did not have double rooms that were accessible. There were 6 individuals in my party, so I requested 2 double rooms, one being accessible. My son is 22 years old with cerebral palsy and wheel chair bound. The rooms they gave us he couldn't even turn around. The bath had no grab bar for him to hold on to. His showers consisted of using a cup to rinse him, no shower head with a hose. The hotel did offer us an accessible suite that had two king beds with a roll in shower. Turned that down because all six of us were near adult age and three to a bed was unacceptable. I booked the room about 2 months out to ensure availability during the thanksgiving weekend. If they had informed me that they didn't have a double that was accessible I would have found a different hotel. I guess that part didn't make it in my "portfolio" We ended up leaving a day early. This is not the first time I booked what I thought was an accessible room only to find out it wasn't. I always get the standard reply "we are so sorry" "but nothing else is available"

I do apologize for that misunderstanding that took place, I do hope this doesn't stray you away from staying with us, I will converse with the front desk associates and see where this went wrong in booking. We do usually respectfully inform our guests that booking on the Marriott Bonvoy app is more prominent when it comes to accessibility requests but that does not steer away from the associates helping to make sure that is what's granted. Again I do sincerely apologize and hope you choose to stay with us in the near future.

Checking in was a issue as I waited a good 15 minutes before being acknowledged I was even there. What looks to be a problem taken place when one group of families had the desk personal and office personal tied down with there personal problems.

Our room had a leaky window which made the room smell moldy and feel dank. Our TV didn’t work and the pool was closed our first day. However, the staff was great and fixed the TV and the pool did open.

Great place in liberty

Although the room we reserved was the single king size bed - the room was a bit smaller than we are used to - we usually get a double queen bedroom which is a bit roomier! The price for our stay was very reasonable and if we return to the area we would rebook with Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Kansas City Liberty without batting an eye. The room was very clean as well as the rest of the property at this location. The staff was extremely friendly and the free breakfast was surprisingly done well. We stayed for 6 days and each day the food varied but there was a nice variety of options to choose from. The location is great - lots of shopping and restaurants available in very close proximity which is a real plus Thanks to all at this location for making our stay so enjoyable!

Perfect Location
Great location near lots of restaurants and shopping, some even walkable. Slightly off the main drag, so it's mostly quiet. Had no trouble parking. Room with king bed was on the small side but workable. Bathroom could not have been any smaller and still usable. If I were fatter, I would not have been able to go into the bathroom and still close the door - there just wasn't room. Water pressure in the shower was good. Hot water was near instant. Appreciated the useful on-screen tv guide. Would stay at this location again.

Disappointing
Handicapped rooms are so far from the doors and they don't have enough handicapped parking. Room was incredibly small. I can't imagine getting a wheelchair in there.

The stay was fine until I tried to leave in the morning and realized someone stole my catalytic converters off my truck while in the hotel parking lot. Another guest tried to stop these people and reported it to the front desk… the night staff reported it to the police who never showed up. In the morning when I realized this happened- the front desk staff was no help to me. Told me I would have to wait until the afternoon for the GM to show up. They wouldn’t even tell me what time this crime happened. Literally NO service recovery. I won’t stay at a Fairfield Marriott again or go back to KC. A horrible deal and the hotel should have done something to make the situation better.

Room tiny, does NOT sleep 4, toilet was clogged and messed up the entire stay, elevator was broken for an entire day which does not work when you’re on the 2nd floor and partially disabled. Room door did not shut all the way without having to be forced closed. The staff was great, breakfast options were great.
