“Great weekday experience.”
We enjoyed it on a weekday when it was not crowded. Great fun.
“Not impressed”
We had a semi clean room, broken draw on the floor, our tv changed back to there main pay per view channel every 5 minutes no matter what you did. Could not check out on tv because it would always take you to there pay per view tv. Arrived at 9:30 pm after long day of flying and couldn't find anything open to get something to eat. For the cost of a room would never stay there again.
“Kansas Girl”
I just went to Great Wolf and was a bit frightened after reading some of the reviews. But you have to understand when you go there....it is like any other "theme" establishment. You are paying more for the entertainment factor then for 5 star service, etc. It is a "family" hotel and not the Ritz. My husband and I have traveled quite a bit and everything was super at Great Wolf. The lifeguards were very attentive and nice. We did eat breakfast at the restaurant (ordered off the menu) and it was super (big servings and fast service). We checked in at 7:00 p.m. and there was no line. Room was good. Water park was nice and the raft tube rides were SUPER fun. Older children sitting around us did seem to be a bit bored. Great for families with younger kids! Yes, it's expensive, but a nice weekend getaway!
“Where is the breakfast!”
I think the Great Wolf Lodge is a great place overall. But, for the price I would think you would get a free breakfast. Maybe too many people to do this, I don't know. Also, the bathrooms seem very small. Again, a minor item, but the price would indicate a larger area. Thanks..
“Great water park”
Hotel staff was helpful. Waterpark was clean, but expect humidity when entering the waterpark. Room was clean and quiet. Kids loved the MagiQuest game and Arcade. Would suggest the restaurant have menu for children with wheat and gluten allergies. Kids with allergies cannot eat at their restaurants.
“The waterpark was great. Room dirty & needed maintenance. Will not go back. Very overated.”
There were 7 of us (3 adults 4 children). The waterpark portion was a great experience. The condition and cleanliness of the room were not at all good. Very overrated for the cost.
“Not impressed”
The waterpark inside and out is awesome. Downside is it closes at 9pm and outside pool closes at 8pm. It would be nice to be open a little later. By the time we ate supper, let our food settle for a few minutes we barely had any time to swim that evening. Both of our rooms smelled of something. Couldn't quite figure out what it was. Instead of letting us switch rooms they brought us a spray and left it in our room. Spray helped for a few minutes then you had to do it again and again, etc. TV in one room was bad and so was the sofabed. Maintenance said they fixed it but we found out they just hid the parts. Not sure if we will go again. Fun to swim but I think we will try the competition over at CoCo Key first. Hopefully it will be better, really can't get much worse.
“Lots of family fun”
We met our children and their families there for a family week-end and everyone had a good time. The atmosphere is definitely geared to families but the cost is high.
“The kids loved it!”
The main reason I would ever go back is for the water park. The kids loved it and can't wait to go back, but the room wasn't what you would expect for the amount of money you're paying. The place looks like it needs some updates. The water park however was enjoyable. We spent most of our time there. I'd give this place 4 stars just for the water park.
“Fun time”
Great for the younger kids. A little too much chlorine smell being indoors but overall great experience.
