Hotel Close to KCI Expo Center.Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Breakfast and staff courtesy, the price was good. Location to convention was great.
Cons: Buy some toilet paper and put it in the rooms. Less than half a roll should have had a replacement handy in the room for the guests. Better housekeep.
Location: Avoid the nearby gas stations. Just down the road from the Airport and the Expo Center.
After staying at a Hampton Inn in Catoosa OK we were confident that this hotel would be a close match. It was not quite what we expected. The staff was friendly and pleasing. Breakfast was good. However our room wasn't very nice, it was a much older than expected. There was no type of seal around the door so all the noise from the lobby or hallway came right through loud & clear. Parking the first night was where ever you could find a space to fit your vehicle. The next morning after making some rounds out in town I came back to our room to find a note from housekeeping saying the bed couldn't be made because my wife had left a travel bag on top. I thought ok, lesson learned. I left again and came back after lunch and someone else had made our bed. Toilet paper must have been in short supply for our room ran out with no replacements. Seems that should have been checked by housekeeping. The room air was a bit damp as I awoke to discover the paper in my legal pad had wrinkled up from the moisture. They over charged my card but when I called to inquire they said the overage would fall off in 72 hours. I know that is quite a lot of negatives there so let me add this. The shuttle service was good for 5 miles and the driver was friendly. Good location close to the airport and the Expo Center, sits right off of I-29 at exit 12. Price was good but next year we will try the Microtel by Wyndham or the Super8.

Nearly excellent place for valuePosted Apr 29, 2015 on Hotels
All was very good except finding the place - it isn't easy! Not good signage. Otherwise a comfortable stay with a very friendly and helpful staff. There were some annoying card key issues but the staff was as helpful as they could be.

A fantastic valuePosted Apr 19, 2015
I found this hotel to be a superb value for the cost. It was less than $100 per night, yet it had the comfort of hotels typically in the $120-150 per night range. Despite arriving super late at night, the staff greeted me enthusiastically and was full of recommendations to make the most out of my stay. The breakfast buffet was better than expected, including hot items like eggs, bacon, and waffles. The WiFi was pretty solid, and the bed was big and comfy. It may not be a five star luxury hotel, but it's definitely five stars for the price!

Good hotel, clean rooms, you can tell it's been a while since a renovation has been done, but overall condition was good. Breakfast was ready to go before 6AM so we were able to grab food before flight out.

Suprisingly poorPosted Mar 17, 2015 on Hotels
This was a disappointing stay at a Hampton Inn. Surprising low on a number of levels.

The Not Great: Water leaked from the ceiling in the bathroom. The morning desk staff was a bit unprofessional (complaining about his job/coworkers). The room did not have a comfortable chair to sit in (only a desk chair). The ice machine was out of ice more than once. The Good: The breakfast was tasty, hot and satisfying. The free WiFi worked reliably. The hotel seemed to be fairly clean.
