“Can't wait to stay there again”

Charming and elegant. Rooms are modern with very comfortable beds. Hotel bar looked fun but. Did not get a chance to attend. Served champagne on arrival.

“Great Value and Location”

We recently visited KC for a "girls weekend". We were very pleased with our hotel and the proximity to the local shopping, restaurants, and attractions in the Light and Power District. The hotel staff was friendly and professional and the queen size beds were a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

“Great romantic weekend get away!”

We loved our stay! We were pleasantly surprised with complimentary glasses of champagne on our arrival and the entire weekend the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and more than accommodating. The decor is modern and contemporary without sacrificing the historic charm of the building. We were also amazed at how quiet our room was! We will definitely stay at this hotel again!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was small but essential. Did not get to try restaurant or other ammenities of the hotel but plan to return to check out the restaurant and the spa. Will stay here again.

“Good Experience”

We were in KC for a basketball game at the Sprint Center. This hotel was in an excellent location within walking distance to the game. We were met at the curb by a very helpful Valet Parking attendent and check in was smooth and pleasant. The room was small but very nice and very clean. Our only small complaint would be having to pay for parking which is common for downtown hotels. All in all a very good experience. We will definitely return.T

“Great place to stay if you are going Downtown”

It was very nice being in walking distance of everything in downtown. All of the staff was knowledgeable of the area and was able to tell us things to do around town places to eat. Great experience...cant wait to go back.

“A Delightful Hotel Surprise”

Candidly, I decided I wanted to purchase this trip as inexpensively as possible and this is why I selected the Holiday Inn as my hotel option. Having never stayed at a Holiday Inn, and having selected the lowest priced hotel package for this trip, I confess I was a bit uncomfortable in advance of my arrival. I was delightfully surprised by the hotel. The staff was consistently courteous, helpful and the accomodations entirely satisfactory. The champagne in the lobby is a nice touch (I only experienced this previously at a Four Seasons in Boston!) The double head shower is terrific and the temperature controls in the room very sophisticated. The location could not have been better for sightseeing - the purpose of my stay. A Max stop just outside the hotel, a superb restaurant selection a 5 minute walk and a Starbucks across the street added to the convenience. If i return to Kansas City, this is where i will stay. One suggestion for the front desk staff: They could be better versed regarding general tourist information. I asked if the new arts center opened yet and the receptionist did not know - this is a huge civic undertaking just three blocks from the hotel. Another front desk person did not know if the River Marker (a major tourist site) would be open on July 4th. Both were courteous but surprisingly uninformed for a front desk role. You may use this review if you wish, but no last name, please.
