It's a place to stay close to the airport, and that's it. The hotel is pretty old and dated, our room was small and kind of tacky. That said, it was clean and the shower was solid. They picked us up from the rental car facility at 11pm, which was very convenient.

Nice over night stay!!

Location: N/A
My wife and I had a 6:00 AM flight to Cancun. We checked in the night before around 9:00 PM, had a quick night cap at the lounge and went to bed. The room and shower was clean, we had a 3:00 AM wake up call, the Marriott Shuttle took us directly to our gate. It was spitting sleet and snowing a little so we did not have to worry about driving. When we landed I called the scuttle and it was there in 10 minutes and too me directly back to my vehicle. Great place to stay, friendly people, clean and quiet. It was easy to make my flight the next morning, instead of driving an hour to get to the airport. Highly recommended!!!

Nice hotel great location

Great room. Comfy clean Check in and out perfect. Young man at check in, Akeem, was very nice. Location close to airport was a plus!

close to the airport

Pros: Hotel Restaurant /We had BBQ brisket supper and we just loved it. We don't usually spend that kind of money on food however it was worth every penny.
Cons: Cleanliness. We also noticed several people walked out after seeing the prices on the menu. Perhaps more family friendly "Economy" menu choices.
Location: Lots of shopping just a few minutes away, but the location is so beautiful you can't help but just love being near the lake, etc.
We booked 2 rooms. One for my husband and I and 1 for our son and our 3 year old grandson. We found our room quite comfortable however we couldn't get the cooling system to work very well and I nearly fell backwards out of the desk chair in the room as someone had obviously abused the chair and broken the mechanism that made it not fall backwards. The shower was fantastic and the beds were VERY comfortable to all of us. HOWEVER, our sons room was quite nice also BUT, our grandson was playing on the floor when he started peeking under the bed and we were all visiting when we noticed that he was walking around with crackers, snacks and a female pantiliner in his hand and then other things when we gasped and threw them in the trash. I feel that whoever is cleaning the rooms is not getting under the furniture/bed and maybe needs to work on better overall cleaning. Makes you wonder if the rest of the room is being cleaned properly. Hmmmmm........ Sorry but, I think there needs to be a little bit of work at this one. HOWEVER, we would go back there again but would inspect the room before using.

The staff make the Hotel!

Pros: The people - they make this hotel - from the cleaning staff to the bar staff and the exceptional front desk!
Cons: Need to upgrade rooms and bath rooms!
Location: Its easy access to the Highway and any where you want to go. Especially nice when flying out early or arriving late!
The room on the first night was not to a good standard. The air conditioning didn't work which we really needed with four KC Royals fans who had just been to game 6 of the World Series and the beds were doubles but with some weird top thingy that was hard to sleep on. The second night we were on the platinum level and this was a much nicer and bigger room. The bed in this room was very comfortable What made our stay there one of the best was the PEOPLE. The front desk and bar staff are exceptional. They will do everything within their power to make your stay amazing - makes up for the rooms. Also the bar food is very tasty!

Wonderful weekend getaway

Beautiful view, stated on the 3rd floor facing the lake. Staff was courteous and helpful. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Only con was when trying to take a shower around 5 PM it took awhile for the water to get hot. Although when taking a shower around midnight the water got hot almost immediately. Overall the accommodations were perfect. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Food was good but the wait staff wasn't great (nice but not on the ball). Great wine list. The people were so nice to the kids and us.
Cons: Wait staff in the restaurant could be more attentive (but again, so nice).
Location: It's really only a place to stay if you are going on an early flight or stuck at the airport.
Pool was nice. Pretty view. You have to walk through the gym to get there and it was freezing so not great for the little ones but it's like a 3 second walk so not a big deal.

Really? Charging extra for internet in your room!

The facility and location are just fine - complete with a walking path outside. Why does Marriott cheapen the experience with charging extra for internet in your room?
