Another great stay

Posted May 11, 2015
Location: Country Club Plaza, Starbucks, LaMars Donuts
I travel to KC 3 times every year,.have routinely stayed here, but mixed it up last fall and regretted it big time! It was SO nice to return to the Marriott CCP! From the valets to the front desk to the guest services, the staff is exceptional. The lobby and bar/restaurant area are updated and clean, the rooms are so nicely kept, the towels and sheets feel new and plush, the beds are very comfortable. The location is terrific as well. I won;t wander again. Thanks Marriott CCP!

The hotel staff at the front desk/concierge desk ensured that flowers for my wife made it to the room prior to our arrival and recommend a very nice restaurant for dinner and then scheduled a reservation for us.

Excellent hotel close to both Westport and Plaza.

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: The service was attentive with out being too pushy as other hotels tend to be.
Cons: More soap in the bathroom and other toiletries being provided (q-tips, etc.).
Location: Country Club Plaza and Westport are all within walking distance from the hotel. Unless the weather is bad you shouldn't have to drive to find fun.
I was only here for one night but everything about my stay was excellent. The service, room, recommendations when needed for restaurants, it was all I could ask for in a hotel. There was a problem with my bill, I was charged the wrong rate, but it was cleared up in a matter of minutes. If you need to stay somewhere near the Plaza I would definitely recommend staying here!

All over disappointing

Pros: The location was convenient to the Nelson Atkins Art Museum and the Plaza. The shuttle service was appreciated also.
Cons: Quality pillows and in room amenities need improvement.
The hotel lobby is nice but that's where nice ended. The bathroom walls were stained and the trim pulled away from the floor. The in room coffee maker was old and disgusting. Not sure what the brand was but it wasn't a Keurig as most hotels of this "quality" have these days. The pillows were below standard, made me wish we brought our pillows from home. There is no refrigerator in the room and we paid $15 to have one in our room. Room service was delivered in a timely manner but ended up costing $80 for breakfast....the cheapest meal you can possibly get for two adults and one child. Internet is not provided free of charge. Valet parking was $20 a night, $15 if you parked it yourself. We had stayed this same week at another hotel on the Plaza and Internet and Valet parking were complimentary. The hotel was much nicer and it was a shame that we didn't stay there for our entire trip. The shuttle service was great and the drivers picked us up quickly and were very courteous.

Paid $99 and went to go stay they following weekend and it was $199. Be consistent in ur pricing!! That just rediculious. Rates subject to change based on what's happening in town. This should be illegal and they should just be grateful that people want to stay their!
