Not to bad

Everything was good except the beds. They were worn out and should've been replaced long ago

A few updates needed

Posted Mar 31, 2014
The hotel was clean, the staff friendly. The elevators could use some paint and modernization, and the outside of the hotel needed some freshning up. But overall our stay was very pleasant.

Nice hotel, spacious rooms!

Posted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: Good location, very accommodating staff; clean, spacious rooms. Great coffee!!
Cons: Really nothing! Breakfast each morning was adequate too.
Location: We were in town for a wedding, so we didn't take in the sights.
We had a block of rooms for family members attending a wedding. Staff was very accommodating throughout the process of booking the rooms & making changes. Rooms were comfortable & clean. Thank you LaQuinta for a very nice stay!

GREAT Value

Posted Mar 21, 2014
Pros: The rate, and location.
Cons: Faster internet
Location: We stayed during the NJCAA girls basketball tournament. It was only a few minutes away. The mall is within minutes as well.
Needed a room for a couple of nights, and wanted something reasonable. Got a King Suite, free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, for around $90.00 per night. We will stay at La Quinta again.

Nice clean Hotel.

Posted Mar 19, 2014
Pros: It was close to the places I was visiting.
Cons: When I checked in on Saturday, they told me breakfast was served from 7-11. On Monday I got down to the dining area at 9:30 and breakfast was over.

Easy access to Overland Park Convention Center

Posted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: Fantastic staff - truly top notch! Also easy access to the interstate and good location.
Cons: Better mattresses, better soundproofing.
Location: Near Overland Park Convention Center
The location is great, and having a free breakfast each morning, even if the menu was very basic and repetitive, was nice. The staff was excellent and even looked over the ingredients on some of the breakfast items so that I knew what was gluten free. The hallways are dingy and smell faintly of old smoke, though the property is now completely smoke free. Our mattresses were horrifically bad - I sunk in about 6 inches upon sitting, and trying to sleep in it was worse! The hallways also carry sound so it can be very loud while you are trying to sleep. Overall, you get what you pay for - a value hotel, for a value price.

Location was convenient and easy to find.

Posted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Price was comparable to other hotels in the neighborhood. Rooms were clean. Customer service was GREAT!
Cons: Hotel was outdated. Breakfast did not have very many choices but was good.
Location: The location was convenient and easy to find. Plenty of dining choices close by. Best of all there is a Krispy Kreme store about 2 blocks away.
The hotel was a bit out dated but clean. We needed an extra towel, went to the front desk and the front desk clerk could not get us a towel quick enough. Customer service was GREAT!

Stay here

Posted Jan 22, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Barking could be lessened.
Convenient, close to major highways but away from the road so it's quiet. Beautiful lobby and eating area. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast above average, and I liked that the staff came out and did a last call prior to putting away the food. The only negative would be continual barking from a small dog in the adjacent room. Perhaps rooms with pets could all be on the same floor?

Showing Some Wear

Posted Jan 13, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was better than most and it looked like there is a nice outdoor pool area but we were there in the winter.
Cons: The room we were in could use new mattresses and a new bathtub.
Our room was large and nicely decorated however, the bed was so soft that I woke up with a back ache and the tub was cracked around the drain from what looked like a major drain problem. The breakfast was very good and was served in a beautiful area with large windows and a fireplace.
