Get what you pay for.

Hotel smelled but was drowned out by overpowering air fresheners. Could hear the people on the 3rd floor walking. Blankets were rough and smelly. Pool was clean. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast...with moldy bagels.

Noisy guests in late evening and early morning, but that wasnt the fault of the Hotel or staff...just rowdy sports fans.

No shower pressure

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: location
Cons: cleaner linens, more water pressure in the shower and staff that was more outgoing.
The room linens had holes in them and did not smell fresh. Also there was hardly enough water pressure in the shower to rinse off.

the breakfast was pretty good. The pool looked nice but the hot tub looked a little green.

NOT "pet friendly!!"

Posted Dec 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is not pet friendly. Smoking only rooms for families with pets. Can't leave them alone, ever, so be prepared to not leave the room. Will not stay here again when we travel to Blue Springs.

Comfortable rooms, good breakfast choices.

Posted Dec 23, 2014
Pros: location, it is close to our relatives we were visiting.
Cons: water pressure was low
Location: right off of major highway. Close to restaurants.
Hotel met all our expectations. Bed was comfortable. Only down side is that the pool area was rather chilly.

Nice hotel but smoky

Posted Dec 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is conveniently located off Hwy-70. There is a Denny's next door which is very convenient for meals. The lobby, business center and pool area are newly updated and look great. We stayed on the 3rd floor in what was listed as a non-smoking room. Unfortunately, the hallway stunk so badly of smoke that it permeated into our room as well. I did mention this to the desk manager the next morning and was told that "someone was smoking on that floor and had their door open". While this may have been the case, as a former smoker, I know what old smoke smells like and this was not a new situation. It seems that they have smoking and non-smoking rooms mixed on the floor. If you are at all bothered by smoke, I would not trust that a non-smoking room at this hotel will work for you. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast in the morning, but it looked like a good selection. The hotel was relatively quiet, there is some road noise from the highway (the windows are single pane and don't muffle the sound very well), but not enough to bother me.
