“Repeat Guest”
I have been staying at this hotel a lot over the years and see the new owner making a lot of changes for the better. You can't beat it for the price.
“Would recommend to visit”
This hotel is spacious..and has all the amentities of a 5 star(indoor pool, bar, restaurant) but with a discount...the parking lot needs work, the complimentary breakfast was great, the hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable and the service was excellent..
“I liked the hotel.”
I stayed at this hotel for a business meeting and saw nothing wrong with it. I agree with the other review writer that its needs a little TLC but they were updating the elevators while I was there and the desk clerk told me the lobby was getting redo in the next week. The meeting space was nice and the lounge was inviting. Everyone at the desk was friendly. I say for the price give it a shot.
“Pet Friendly”
My family holds a family reunion every year and this year I picked the Ramada because they were pet friendly and the price was perfect. Shelby at check in was great Very helpful! This hotel is one of ONLY 3 that will allow pets. I got a doggie bed, a food and water dish for $25 dollars. It was worth it not to dig in my car to find mine. They are doing some upgrading to the hotel right now so the decor is a little dated but in the morning we had FREE omelets plus the breafast bar. Because of the reunion we didn't get to have dinner but after listening to the guest before us I wish we would have! The only bad point to this hotel is the open grass area where Jack (my puppy) can run and jump in the lake behind the hotel!!

The pool was nice. The room was clean. Wouldn't expect anything better for the price.
“Very Pleased!”
I took a gamble on this hotel after reading other unsatisfactory reviews. To my surprise, the room was well-kept & clean. We had a beautiful view lakeside room. It seems like the hotel was updated recently and I love their decor.. The staff at the front desk were accommodating & friendly. Their cute little soap, shampoo & conditioners has a great fragance (citrus vanilla)! (ok, ok, I admit it, I took them home, enuf said). The maid service was excellent, they went out of their way to clean up the next day during our two-day stay. Their contiential breakfasts were very good. Good location - close to Worlds of Fun & casinos & downtown. Am very happy and will recommend this hotel.
“Great Hotel by World's of Fun”
Found hotel as a last minute deal on a busy weekend in KC. With the room being cheap, we didn't expect it to be nice, but it was great. It had been recently remolded and had a huge window with a beautiful view of the KC skyline and the hotels lake. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, and the pool was a nice bonus. Would absolutly recommend.
“Don't let the reviews fool you!!”
I was unsure about staying in this hotel after reading the reviews but it is worth every penny!! I come to Kansas City on business a few times a month and I will definitely be staying at this hotel again. It is an older hotel but they are doing renovations on it. The rooms have already been renovated and the beds are very comfortable. I asked the girl at the desk for the kind of bed they had because I want one for my home. It is close to downtown without all the noise and traffic. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They even printed out a map to the restaurant I wanted. The rooms are very big with a work station desk. I like the fact that they have a lounge to relax in after a long day. The only downside is you have to go down a long hallway to get to breakfast but the free omelet bar makes the walk worth it.
“Great hotel if you are going to a game”
This hotel is great if you have tickets to a game. Right off the highway. We came into town for the Chiefs game and were very happy with the stay. Check in time is 3pm but the girl at the desk let us check in early. We had a few hours to kill before the game so we went to the lounge. The bartender was great. We could take our drinks out to the pool. The rooms were huge! My friends and I will be staying here every time we are in town.
“Quite space”
The room was more than expected for the price point paid. Large King size bed. Even the view of the parking lot and pool were okay as we were on the 6th floor, which gave us some vantage. They have poor wireless internet access. We could not get on at all. There was a desk area in the room, although without internet access it was no good. The hotel is located in an industrial area ... but I would stay there again it was clean, spacious and quiet.
