“Not impressed, but still willing to return”

The hotel appears to be a great find. In the big picture, it was; however, some details were frustrating. I spoke with 2 different people before we arrived, and 1 more upon our arrival. All 3 told me they would have a crib for us. Hours into our stay, and just before bedtime, I was informed by someone that they do NOT have cribs! This was very frustrating, and we had to quickly improvise something for our baby. Additionally, we were not given fresh towels on one of our days. There was no alarm clock in the room. The outlets near the vanity where the coffee maker goes did not work. They advertise granite countertops, but its just a piece of granite placed over a cheaply made wooden frame. The outside greenery and walking path are not maintained. They try hard to make this a fancy hotel, but it has a ways to go to be impressive. Nonetheless, it was clean and comfortable. The location was near enough to other attractions. We would probably stay again, just because the price was right.

“Enjoyed Myself!”

Enjoyable experience, even in the midst of renovations! Minor problem with iron, which was resolved right away. Nice selection of breakfast items.

“better than I expected from the other reviews”

Can't go wrong for the price. The staff was friendly and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location was also decent. It wasn't right next to anything but several things were within a short drive.

“Comfortable!”

Awesome wall to wall windows gave a nice view of the city and the full moon at night. A great workspace, soft and comfotable bed, and a nice comfy chair. The room was very large so it needed a larger television screen. But overall a very nice hotel...

“Surprisingly nice.”

We were nervous about this hotel bc of the reviews, but we went for it bc its about half of what youd expect to pay for an average hotel. Pros: Large, clean room, free breakfast, friendly staff, and pretty view of a pond with geese from the room. Close to the interstate. Has an indoor outdoor pool and a bar inside. They also let us check in early. Cons: this place is a little raggedy around the edges, but they have rennovated a lot. Not every floor has an ice machine. It's a 15-20min drive to downtown. There are only fast food restaurants nearby. It was a bit warmer in the hotel bc they keep the ac low, but it wasn't a problem bc you can adjust your rooms temperature. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

“Very clean and near casinos”

While this hotel is located in an industrial park, it is very close to casinos and relatively close to downtown KCMO. It was clean and the staff were friendly.

“Pleasant place”

We stayed for a week over Thanksgiving. We booked the hotel at a very cheap cost without knowing which hotel would be assigned to us. For the cost, this was a great deal - spacious room with large windows and good desk space; clean and comfortable; but a little shabby and under repair. The staff was especially courteous and helpful. Breakfast area looked out over a lake and the free breakfast was very good. There was a walking trail around the hotel. Indoor pool was clean. Weight room was fine, except treadmill was not working. Plenty of parking space. Wireless throughout the hotel. At the price, we would definitely choose this hotel again!
