Adequate Biz stay - great location.

Pros: Prompt room service.
Cons: Deep cleaning - trash under beds.
Location: Block-ish from Union station & mall-thing.
Perfect location for attending or working a Union Station event.

Nice hotel, would stay there again

Pros: Everything
Cons: Not much....couple of staff were less than friendly, but, in there defense it was crazy busy, they did a good job!!
Location: Rolling Stones - Arrowhead Stadium
Friendly staff, room was awesome, bed super confortable.....Nice place to stay

Nice hotel, horrible staff, bad location & service

Hotel staff lacked any forward thinking for guests needs, their primary concern is putting out biggest fire - totally reactionary. Asked about shuttle to baseball game several days in advance and they failed to tell us you had to reserve your seat. We had to take a taxi. Who only runs one shuttle? Also, first room they put us in still had people in it - they were as shocked as We were when we opened the door. Little kid got on elevator without parent and the hotel staff just watched and told them to take the next elevator. We did, but the kids went to the lobby, not the mezzanine like the parents. We tried to tell staff in lobby what had happened but they ignored us and took kids elsewhere.

Classy Hotel, Vibrant Area

We were in Kansas City to see "Once" at the Kaufmann Performing Arts Center and decided on this hotel for a good location, near the venue. We were beyond pleased with our stay in the Sheraton. The hotel is classy and the area is vibrant. So much to take in and appreciate. Our stay was a "5" across the board.

Great location but that is about all

Pros: Good location for the Sprint Center and a nice shuttle service
Cons: Try providing something for the guest other than a plain room and something that will make us want to come back and pay the kind of money that you are
If you are going to an event at the Sprint Center, this is a great location. Unfortunately, that is about all it is. For almost $300/night, there was very slow check-in, the room is outdated, the shower didn't work well, the A/C was inadequate, and there was only enough cream and sugar for 1 person to have a cup of coffee. We left soft drinks in the refrigerator and they were still hot the next day when we left. There is no restaurant in the hotel, only overpriced room service, and no bar or lounge either. Just no value for the money AT ALL! Not even close to most Sheratons we have stayed in.

We have a restaurant in the hotel, Spectators Gastro-Pub which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is located on our Mezzanine level. It was a short stat but overall good. Stormed all night so didnt get much sleep.

Nice weekend getaway destination close to downtown

Great hotel. Beware the shady parking garage adjacent to hotel. Charged $51.00 to park for 3 days. They are NOT affiliated with Sheraton hotel.

The hotel is a bit "worn"

Location: Location is fine.
Staff was not on top of things. Some congress was going on and they had markers to guide all their attendees to the breakfast place at the Westin hotel. This was extremely badly done so everyone I know at the Sheraton followed these markers and wasted 15 minutes walking back and forth (after realising the mistake). The staff at the Sheraton restaurant did nothing to fix this problem, although we told them twice. Other than that the hotel was a bit worn in many ways, but OK I guess.

Clean hotel

First, they should warn people that putting your room key next to your cell phone wipes it out. We got back late our second night and had to sit and wait for security to bring us a new one. My name didn't get put on the "list" for the parking garage so every time I left I was given a lecture by the parking attendant. It was frustrating.

Weekend getaway

We rode the Amtrak in, took in "Guys and Dolls" at Musical Theater Heritage in Crown Center, stayed the night with Sheraton and returned home the next morning. The whole trip was fabulous start to finish.
