Good value IS Motel

Pros: Good location for what i required, and cheap !
Cons: Its a little tired, with the usual breakfast offerings for such a cheap chain motel, which I skipped.
Location: Harry Trumans house and Library were really worth while, and the baseball stadium is unusually nice for an out of town stadium
Bog standard, but cheap motel - I stayed to go and visit KC and then the baseball in the evening

Very adequate for a cheap motel.

Very comfortable. Clean. The hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. The room smelled a little smoky. When we checked out, there was a girl in front of us in tight leather pants, glittery high-heeled shoes, you know, "the look". I guess that's what kind of a motel it is.

Great Time in Independence, Missouri

Our first room the bed sagged so bad and the window wouldn't shut.. They moved us to a different room that was better. The beds and pillows do need to be upgraded. I had a terrible backache after 6 nights. The staff was amazing. Anything we needed they accommodated us and helped us with our stay. Breakfast was sufficient ban well stocked. We will be returning to this Super 8. Thank you staff.

We stayed for 4 days and were never given maid service or even new towels. Then when we checked out, they said they couldn't give us our $50 deposit back because we were missing a single wash cloth. But we had 1 to begin with. I got the deposit back because they realized i had 3 hand towels. Probably won't go back.

This hotel was a good value for the price. Although the room was very clean, it smelled quite stale when we arrived, but we were able to open the window. We had asked for a non-smoking room. The complementary breakfast was great, offering fresh waffles, toast,fruit etc....more than just a microwave and coffee. The best part of our stay was the staff. The gentleman at the main desk was outstanding, knowledgeable and courteous...he could even recommend a first-rate restaurant. The housekeeping staff was wonderful, too, helping us out with our needs.
