Great general purpose hotelPosted Apr 1, 2013
Staff very polite and helpful; breakfasts good value, but watch out for too much oil! Well situated for access to tourist attractions, without being on the tourist strip - basically a row of bars.

Comfortable... but not "boutique"Posted Dec 31, 2009
Kaohsiung city wants to become a more pedestrian and tourist friendly city. The Lees hotel is located in the tourist zone, with pedestrian sidewalks, restaurants and close enough to the metro, KMRT. Now, the hotel is clearly not boutique. Don´t get me wrong, the staff is friendly enough, clean, I got a room big enough for me.... but there is nothing really special in the decoration of the hotel that I wanted to get home or even a special spot that, in my view, was worth a picture.

Not worth your money..Posted Oct 13, 2009 on Hotels.com
This hotel is supposed to be a four star hotel... however the overall maintanence of the hotel is poor. I requested a non-smoking room yet the room smells like a dirty bar... It doesn't worth your money... Stay at splendor or han-lai is much much better for the same price...
