Right in the center of everything.Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: The staff was so friendly.
Location: Right in the center of the Colonades. Sample the waters, have spa treatments, tour the Becherovka or Moser glass factories and just walk around.
The hotel Pushkin is right in the center of everything. The bus is nearby to take you out to the Moser glass factory. Room and bed were comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and a lot of variety. Right next to the main Colonade. I would stay here again. We loved Karlov Vary, such a quaint town and I hope to get back there. As you walk into the room, you feel like your in a hostel, but the bed was comfy and it was quiet. We were there in off season.

Charming hotel in great locationPosted Apr 5, 2015
Karlovy Vary is all about old style, class and charm and this hotel definitely brought all of that in the outside of the hotel, the rooms, and the restaurant. Very helpful staff who directed us to numerous activities to do in Karlovy Vary and would also book some activities for us. The breakfast was simply amazing. So much delicious food, western and typical Czech, with great service. The room had high ceilings and had classy decorations. The bed was super comfortable and with thick drapes to block out the light, you will have a superb sleep after a day of exploring. The location is right behind the wooden Colonade and the biggest spring fountain. Perfect location and a gorgeous view. There was some parking from the hotel, which was nice as parking in this area is hard to come by. Overall, this hotel is beautiful and comfortable!

Enjoyable stay overallPosted Feb 19, 2015 on Hotels.com
Picture "Hotel Budapest", but smaller and past its golden era. Copious breakfast in a nice setting. Be aware that you have to call ahead if you want to reserve a parking spot as we found out too late that it is quite hard to find one in Karlovy Vary (parking fines are not that expensive in Czech Republic, but still not a pleasant surprise on a romantic getaway). Still a very enjoyable stay overall.

Nice service and great locationPosted Jan 5, 2015
Cons: economy room design and layout
Location: Situated in the center of the old touristic city core of Karlovy Vary, right across the street of the renowned castle spa and mineral water colonnade.
The hotel offers a superb service, no matter whether you have a premium or an economy room. Helpful and friendly personal, clean rooms, lavish and extremely tasty Russian-flair breakfast buffet. The only thing to grumble about is the fact that the economy rooms could have been made much more comfy with a bit of a designers and engineer's touch.
