Taking hospitality to a different level!
Nothing short of brilliant! There was no stage that the staff ever said ‘no’ to a reasonable request! This is what hospitality is about! The ‘lobby concert’ on New Year’s Eve was a touch of class in hospitality - unexpected and definitely a pleasant surprise! Keep it this way!

This is a hardcore 4 star Japanese hotel. Excellent service, location, restaurant, and amenities. They're not used to working with foreigners. Be patient and polite.

When you're thousands of miles from home sometimes you want some level of familiarity and I think that's what makes The Crest shine -there are always two staff at the front desk, greeting you as you come and go, and the facilities are all sturdy. A classic vibe and a great view, not to mention a great value for the price. Will stay here every time I am in Kashiwa.

Excellent experience
After being separated from our son and daughter-in-law for three years due to the pandemic travel restrictions, we were at last able to fly from the UK to visit them. We've stayed in the Crest Hotel before so we knew it was a great hotel, and this time it was just as good. We travelled around a bit so checked in and out of the Crest 3 times and each time was smooth and problem free. Our room had an impressive view over the city and out to Tokyo and mount Fuji on a clear day. Thanks to all of the staff who looked after us from the front desk to the restaurant, everyone went out of their way to look after us. We fully recommend anyone who is visiting Kashiwa for pleasure or business to stay here. It’s right next to the station with fast connections to Narita, Tokyo and Haneda. We will be back!

Additional amount asked fo for early check-in
Check-in time was 3.00 PM. We arrived 2 hours early and the front desk manager would not check us in unless we paid an additional Yen 2,000 per person for the 2 hours despite the fact the room was ready and availble for check-in. We decided to go for lunch instead and came back at 3.00 PM to checkin. Kind of ridiculous rule. Apart from that the stay was fine.

Excellent hotel with excellent staff, right next to Kashiwa Station, shops and restaurants. Easy to get to Tokyo, Narita and Haneda by train. We have stayed here several times when we come from the UK to visit our son, every stay has been great. Our room has a superb view over the city to Tokyo Skytree and Mount Fuji on clear days. We totally recommend the Crest Hotel Kashiwa for business and pleasure.

Didn't really know what to expect as we were staying outside Tokyo, but The Crest Hotel far exceeded my expectations. The staff, the location, the rooms, the food, everything... was wonderful. We had two rooms, and having the kids next door was also extremely easy and no issues whatsoever. I'd definitely stay here again if the need arises.

The hotel is very close (only few minutes walk）from Kashiwa station and lots of shops/convenient stores nearby. Kashiwa isn't far to travel to many popular Tokyo sites either. There are shuttle bus services available from/to Narita and Haneda airport from the bus stop infront of the hotel however, only two buses a day to Narita (Still, very handy to know there are another options to get to the hotel from/to the airport).

Great base for Kashiwa, Chiba and Tokyo.
We stayed from 26th December to 2nd January. We were visiting our son who lives in Kashiwa. What an excellent hotel it turned out to be. We landed at Narita and were at the hotel about an hour later. The hotel is an easy three minute walk, with bags, from the station with escalators down to the hotel level. We arrived a few hours before check in time so we left our bags with the front desk. On returning in the evening, we were shown to our room and our bags had been placed in the room. All very efficient. Room - We had a double non smoking room on the twelfth floor with a large window overlooking Kashiwa, Tokyo and Mount Fuji, the view was excellent and a real highlight of our stay. The room was larger than our usual Tokyo experience and the bed was comfortable. All mod cons and good wifi. A great room for the price. Breakfast - We stayed B&B. The breakfast was buffet style with a mix of Japanese and western food. It was all very tasty and well presented and set us up for our days exploring. Nearby - The station complex has a number of shops, department stores, bars and restaurants. We ate at different places every evening and every meal was good. Prices on a par or slightly lower than the UK. Getting around - Being next to the station, travelling around Chiba and Tokyo is very easy, most places direct or one change, Tokyo, Minato, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Roppongi, Odaiba all round an hour. In Summary, we highly recommend this hotel. We will be returning.

Kashiwa Quiet and Relaxing Japan
Nice hotel, room is roomie and larger than other Japanese Hotels we have used (at least 10 others around Japan). The bed was firm and with the down comforter, sleeping was cozy. The breakfast was healthy with lots of Japanese style vegetable dishes. The employees were very courteous. The location close to the train station and airport limo made it so convenient for my friend to meet me daily.

A great stay in Kashiwa.
I went to Kashiwa to watch my son play baseball. The staff at the Crest Hotel were very friendly and help full. I would recommend to anyone who would like to stay in Kashiwa. The location is perfect.

We had a nice time staying there. It is in the lively neighborhood, but very quiet inside the hotel or rooms. Convenient to grab something quick to eat and drink, or sit-down restaurants as well if you like finer food.

It is nice and convinence location.
It is near to Kawashi JR train station. Outside there is Takashimaya mall and around there is many places for a proper meal. I would recommend friends to stay if they going to japan. Good and thumb up.

The staff is friendly and speak English. Super helpful. Have to ask at desk for wifi. Quiet neighborhood. Close to train stop. About an hour from Narita. Would highly recommend. Room is spacious. Ramen shops line the same street. Do yourself a favor and eatsomething from these shops. There's a "New Yorker" bar close by that's fun. we only stayed overnight and it was very convenient to to take our train to Osaka the next morning.

I had a wonderful time there. Kashiwa City is only about 40 minutes train ride from Ueno, Tokyo and there are many shops and restaurants around the train station. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with a great view. I was even able to see Mt. Fuji from my hotel room one day. The service that I received from each staff there was excellent and professional. I will definitely stay there again!

it's my second time, I think it's a worth recommedning hotel, except it is a little far from the jr station, in my opinion. but I notice there is some bus stop right in front of the hotel providing airport service, so maybe I will give it a try sometime in the future.

Very pleasing stay.
This is a very nice hotel. We had a mix up with the rooms, which was settled quickly and efficiently and took only minutes. The staff is friendly and speaks English, which I have found in Japan, is not always the case. Bed was a bit lumpy but nor bad. Very close to shopping and train station.

Look, you’re in Japan. You are not going to find a large western type room for the price range. The room I had with my wife was small but it was comfortable and clean. The hotel is located about 5 minutes by foot from Kashiwa Station. Nearby the station are numerous stores and places to eat. The hotel staff were all pleasant and very courteous (as the majority of the Japanese are). I thought the restaurant in the hotel was a little pricey so I didn’t eat there. There are many options for places to eat outside of the hotel. I would stay there again if I was back in the area.
