We stayed from 26th December to 2nd January. We were visiting our son who lives in Kashiwa. What an excellent hotel it turned out to be. We landed at Narita and were at the hotel about an hour later. The hotel is an easy three minute walk, with bags, from the station with escalators down to the hotel level. We arrived a few hours before check in time so we left our bags with the front desk. On returning in the evening, we were shown to our room and our bags had been placed in the room. All very efficient.
Room - We had a double non smoking room on the twelfth floor with a large window overlooking Kashiwa, Tokyo and Mount Fuji, the view was excellent and a real highlight of our stay. The room was larger than our usual Tokyo experience and the bed was comfortable. All mod cons and good wifi. A great room for the price.
Breakfast - We stayed B&B. The breakfast was buffet style with a mix of Japanese and western food. It was all very tasty and well presented and set us up for our days exploring.
Nearby - The station complex has a number of shops, department stores, bars and restaurants. We ate at different places every evening and every meal was good. Prices on a par or slightly lower than the UK.
Getting around - Being next to the station, travelling around Chiba and Tokyo is very easy, most places direct or one change, Tokyo, Minato, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Roppongi, Odaiba all round an hour.
In Summary, we highly recommend this hotel. We will be returning.
