Condition of AccomodationPosted Sep 2, 2014
We were not expecting ensuite to be a separate building to the cabin. The drainage was such that the whole room flooded when having a shower

Don't bother with this onePosted Jun 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
Poor service from the time of check in. Receptionist had no personality, nor knowledge of incoming arrivals. Room had spiderwebs hanging from window, and air conditioning not activated prior to our arrival. Bathroom amenities were poor with shower curtain so stiff that it would not conform to shape of shower entry and allowed water to leak all over the floor.

Disappointing.Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: Convenient to Katherine Gorge.
Location: It's on the Katherine Gorge Road so it was easy for us to get up in the morning and head off for a tour of the Gorge.
We booked a cabin but didn't realise until we got there that it was just a small demountable with an outside bathroom and just foam mattresses - even on the double bed. We asked to upgrade to a motel room and did so for an extra $40 or so and this was a bit better. We had two young teenagers with us and one of them had to sleep on a roll-in bed. The airconditioning in the motel room was around the corner from the double bed, so we had to put the fan on - but it had only two speeds - fast or flat out - so we were either hot or blown out of bed, while our youngsters froze in front of the airconditioner. There also seemed to be something running around the ceiling all night - a possum maybe? When we told the staff member he didn't seem very interested. The room was very small, but adequate, I suppose. The pool looked small for the number of people that could be in the park.

Buyer bewarePosted May 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had booked a cabin with ensuite and the receptionist gave us a cabin with toilet and bath outside and insisted that this is what they mean by ensuite. Fortunately another person intervened and offered accommodation with ensuite facilities but the receptionist demanded extra. We had to insist in getting what we had been told we were paying for - but it left a bad impression for the remainder of the stay.

I was surprised at the accommodation style. Has been a long time for me to leave the security of my room to look for the toilet in the middle of the night. This needs to be made clear at the outset before booking. Came in late and out early so can not comment on the amenities further

Great restaurantPosted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: Restaurant, pool
Cons: Lighting & furniture need updating
Location: Great location with best restaurant in town. Highlights are dinner cruise on Katherine Gorge, Edith falls and cutta cutta. Great collectables store
Hiking Edith falls is well worth the effort. The dinner cruise on the Katherine Gorge is unbelievably beautiful with best dinner ever. Cutta cutta cave is a must see too.
