I enjoyed an extended stay at Shree Tibet. First, the good. I stayed in a single with in-suite bathroom. The room was a pretty good size, it was clean, and it was comfortable. On this site, it was the cheapest hotel in Kathmandu, but it was a fantastic value for the money. If you expect the Hyatt, you will be disappointed. If you expect clean and comfortable in a great location with a very friendly and accommodating staff, you will be happy you chose this hotel. A couple of negatives, though. The wi-fi isn't always so fast, but I faced the street and was within range of Funky Buddha's wi-fi and it was much better. I ate breakfast there every morning (very cheap and good), so I had the password. Also, there were tiny ants in my room. They sprayed, but it didn't help much. I honestly didn't notice them too much, though, so it wasn't a big deal. Again, for the price you will be hard pressed to find a nicer hotel than this. I would absolutely stay here again.
