The only thing good was friendly desk clerk. She said this was one of the nicest rooms for me to stay. Little did I know at that time the condition of the room.
Bed was not smartly made. Looked like the linens were not changed. No telephone in the room. I had to use my cell to call the front desk to inquire about some of the conditions. There was a place on the wall for a hair dryer but there was not one there. I called the front desk but he said there was no phone or hair dryer available at this time and he would not promise to find one. When I walked into the bathroom - throw up was the best I could say. There was a reddish brown ring around the entire tub and it looked like it had not been cleaned up in a month. Looked like orange brown mold. The vent fan was not operational. There was a man sitting outside in the doorway of the room next to me smoking. I felt very uncomfortable. Then I noticed another guy sitting in his dark car from the room 2 doors down. Poor lighting. When I decided I would not want to stay in this type of poor lodging, I turned my room key in and told the manager on duty I was not going to stay in such filth and disarray. He offered no refund of my room. The website for this hotel is completely opposite of the actual lodging. False advertising for sure. Pictures on the website was a nice lobby, the rooms looked appealing with furniture, pictures and lamps. There was none of this. Would not recomment this motel to anyone.

Mold in bathroom. Bugs in room. Wi-Fi not working.
The motel is easy to find and convenient for our needs.
The BN Railroad does seem to be a 24 hour operation which one can hear at all hours of the day and night. One portion of the motel is a bar. We only encountered 1 cockroach there during our stay. We were disappointed with the offerings of the motel.

Dont bother with this hotel. Not worth saving the extta money!! Key card would not work. Had to stay the night in my car because lobby was closed for the night. Room key wouldnt work next day and and staff had no idea how to help. I booked the reservation thru expedia and both were unwiiling to refund or credit to make things right.

sorry to hear that its not us its the state that they have a rail road track close to our property but next time ask room far from the tracks sorry about it thanks.
It was horrible. They never services the room for a 4 day stay. I visited their office three times and no one was available. I called several times and still the room was never serviced. The room wasn't clean to start.

Roach motel
Room was adequate, beds were squeaky and not very comfortable. There were roaches crawling on the walls and on the beside table. Needs to be sprayed and there isn't a pool like the website says. Its been filled in with concrete. Bar is pretty nice with a pool table and jukebox they do allow smoking in there so beware of that.

Dirty, AC didn't work well, beds were uncomfortable, towels were cheap, next to the railroad tracks, door didn't lock well looked like the door had been kicked in.

we have a front desk people stay in the office in the weekdays up to 1 30 am in the morning and weekend they stay up to 2 30 morning and no one calls like they running late on that case . other wise we have a drop box we should leave the key too and informed or give him a room number too go his room too but no one calls and blaming for every thing should d have a courtesy to call and informed some thing about it.
I paid upfront and when I got there they didn’t opened the door but they had a window with a door bell for customer service and they didn’t respond. I had to go get another room for my wife and I at 1 in the morning. One of your customer service workers said that I wouldn’t get a refund since I didn’t show up before 12 they considered as cancelled. I wouldn’t mind if it was pay later and didn’t show up but I paid before they need to respect my money and my room cause it was paid in full. Expedia since I got this room under your page I make you responsible for my bad experience. So I’m expecting you refund me ASAP

Dear guess: Since COVID-19 we been close our door at 12 or 1 am during the week and Friday and Saturday at 2am. If you no call to inform us that you are on you way we have no other way to now that you coming. When you call we wait patiently for you arrival. That is why we charge for the day, no call no show we charge.
I checked in for me one night booking and the key didn’t work. While I was attempting to enter the room I notice sketchy activity, one of the guests was cursing and very aggressive, several curse words written in side walks and it looked more like a place people live in that can’t afford an apartment than a hotel. Like they had far too much personal stuff there. I did not feel safe and will definitely not return.

We stayed during the extreme weather/snow in Texas. We had power outage at home & no water. There was no breakfast served during my entire 5 days accommodation. Built in Heater is not working inside my room during the freezing temperature outside. I was given a portable heater. The portable heater sometimes cause loss of power in my room. At first I thought it was the blackout schedule from one area to another as we lost power for some periods. Later I was informed that I can’t use the microwave & the heater at the same time because they can be grounded. Staff has to check the breaker 3 times in consecutive days.
No housekeeping came to clean the room. I guess they will only send housekeeper after check out. I requested for towels & they gave me.
Walking distance to fast food restaurants, never had problem buying food during the freezing winter days.
Checking in wasn’t easy, at first they said that there’s no room available but I mentioned to staff that I booked online& it says available & enter my account to pay. She said my payment wasn’t process online, but later she finally gave me a room to stay. Lobby was crowding due to increasing number of people looking for accommodation due to winter storm.
My overall stay was Ok. At least I have place to stay with continuous water supply.

Floor in room was laminate and was greasy for not having any other words was very slippery. Sheets on bed were so thin you could see mattress and there were stains on the sheets. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Left after about 15 minutes because I would not stay there. Better to loose the $75.00 than stay there

Check in time was at 12pm. We were there about 11:40am and the room wasn’t ready. We waited in the parking lot in the car with 3 kids after driving several hours. At 1:25pm the room still wasn’t ready and the front desk didn’t know when it would be ready. I had to track the manager down to a room and ask for sheets and said I would leave the trash and old bedding by the door because my kids couldn’t sit in the car any longer. The manager gave them to me and that was it. The staff never came and offered to clean the room or to see if we needed anything. I had to go ask for trash bags after taking out the previous persons trash. We refused to stay another night as we had booked two nights. We stayed the first and went to check out at 7am mind you check out is at 11am. We asked for a refund for the second night and they refused. Really they should have given all of our money back. Horrible service. They got a free night out of us and all we got was a dirty room not even made available at check in time.

I'm only giving it one star because I had to in order to write this review. We arrived late. Check in was easy and the person at the desk was nice. We had been traveling the state of Texas looking at colleges and just needed a quick place for my daughter and I (mom) to sleep. Yes, two women traveling the state of Texas so safety is critical - keep this in mind...We parked the car and started to unload when my 17 year old daughter pointed out that a naked man was watching us through the window. We continued to unload and carry our luggage upstairs stepping over dirty old wet socks. We got to our room where furniture was stacked out on the walkway. We got inside and needed to use the restroom immediately. There was what appeared to be blood or feces smeared all over the back of the bathroom door. We needed to get out. A fight broke out in the hallway - yelling and door pounding. We waited for that to end and bolted for the car while being chased by a dog!! It was CRAZY! Do NOT stay at this motel. We stayed at a few motels on our trip and they were great. This was the exact opposite - frightening.
Close to restaurants, within walking distance. Had to ask for sheets, ours were stained

Room had a very strong incense smell. Had to go buy a scented candle just to tolerate it. The furniture very run down. looked like had been bought at a yard sale. all mismatch. Microwave was dirty.
