Pros: I like that the beach is a short walk to a nice beach.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Good location for things on east and south shore. Would not recommend it if you plan a lot of north shore visits.
Maybe a long time ago , like when it was new this was a great hotel.

Pros: The flavor, style and pools. Also, there was a problem with the room; somebody fixed it immediately.
Cons: More than what I expected; very good stay for the price, I could stay there longer, with ease.

Nice ocean front room at an affordable price

Check in was moderately easy. Lots of signatures and so forth. An "amenities" fee of $18.50 per day not found out until check-in. We asked to use a luggage cart, and were told because of a earlier theft of a cart, they no longer allowed guests to use the cart. We had to lug our luggage quite a ways to the room. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. A great nights sleep. Shower was hot and lots of water, very nice. The beautiful view was really ruined by the filthy windows, what a shame.

Pros: The hotel has a nice tropical feel and is close to town and the beach.
Cons: My room was old and dated but comfortable.
Last minute stay for one night. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is old and shows a lot of wear. The room seemed clean until I found a pair of kids's undies hanging in the shower. The staff was apologetic and changed our room instantly. The bed was very comfortable and the grounds very nice. Best part is the location. Very close to Wailua beach and Kapa'a. The complementary breakfast fruit plate and coffee on the on site restaraunt was a plus. Overall, I'd give it a 3 out of 5

Nice but in n need of some tlc. I would recommend as a very quiet place. The room was very spacious, clean and in need of some upgrade. The shower stall was very small. The ac vent the metal part where you can open or adjust where the direction of he ac needs replacement or some painting. The restaurant needs some work also otherwise it is a great location. It did not have he feeling of a hotel, a bit run down. Mahalo.

Pros: I liked that it was so close to the beach and had two pools and a jacuzzi
Honestly, I only paid $77 a night and I thought it was a great deal.

Pros: The entry way is nice.
Cons: Almost everything.
Location: The location was the only good thing about this hotel.
The room was very shabby (we were in a suite) with a lanai door that wouldn't open, a sink that was rusted and sharp-edged, and the a.c. did not work. The pool was closed down due to the extreme disrepair. (tiles were missing from almost 1/2 of it) Some of the staff were very rude and unhelpful. The controller for the DVD player didn't work and when my husband called down to the front desk about it, the woman hung up on him. If we could have gotten a refund, we would have checked out and changed hotels the first night.
