“Wonderful trip”

This experience was by my sister and brother-in-law who were given this trip for their 50th wedding anniversary. They said the staff was awesome and so very, very nice. The room was more than they expected. From their experience, we all would like to go spend some time at this Aston Islander on the Beach.

“40 wedding anniversary at Aston on the Beach”

We had a lovely room with full set of dishes, microwave, and refridgerator. The balcony looked out to the ocean and every morning and evening was beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub, used the laundry facilities and picked up our daily paper at the front desk. We went to the front desk when we wanted extra coffee.....anything! Bed was great....wireless was an added +. Restaurants and stores were within easy walking distance. There were farmers markets in the parking lot of the Coconut Marketplace. We enjoyed our stay. Sometimes, when we would return in the evening, it was a little difficult to find a parking place, but if you went to the front desk....you had a great parking place! (the worker even gave us her parking slot!) Highly recommend this place...quiet, relaxed, clean!

“Great Place!”

My parents, boyfriend and I all enjoyed our stay. The beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel! I was REALLY impressed with how nice the rooms were in this hotel. The kitchenette was very nice. The rooms were a little small for laying out suitcases compared to some others (I live out of the suitcase when traveling.) but they provided LOTS of storage drawers and wardrobe for keeping stuff. The outdoor bar was great along with the hot tub and slightly cool pool (unheated). Most of the people at the hotel were very helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately the main bartender is NOT friendly nor was she very attentive. My mother refused to go back to the bar if she was there after our first encounter with her. She seems to hate her job, complains about not making enough money, sits on a stool and chats with her friend and then would refill her friends drink and not even ask other people that had empty drinks if they wanted another or make eye contact with them. BUT Ally was an absolutely AWESOME bartender with a great attitude and service!!! Having a laundry nearby was really convenient. And almost all the rooms have some sort of oceanview.

“Great low-key hotel”

Great value for the money. Beautifully maintained property with gorgeous beach view. Small pool, so if that's important, stay away. But if you're in Kauai for beach, mountains, hiking, etc., it's centrally located, low-key, and lovely.

“Great room on the beach in Kapaa”

Very nice condo-hotel with easy access to Coco Marketplace. The poolside bar was excellent. The grounds were fastidious with lots of flowers and flowering trees. The beach was only average but that was expected. The mini kitchen was quite adequate for a few days. Dishes, silverware, glasses, etc., were supplied and in good condition.

“"Amazing, friendly and relaxy."”

I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Young, old and everyone in between. The setting doesnt get any better, a short walk to a private beach the pool and hot tub area with a nice bar. The staff were very helpful with anything you needed and the facilities were clean. Great for kids as it is very private and not that busy. Also have great shopping within walking distance with several little places to eat. Cant say enough about it.. We r already planning another trip there. Aloha

“10 days in paradise”

We were surprised with the attractiveness of the room. We had stayed in the same motel 8 years ago. It certainly was upgraded! Lots of rich wood furniture and trim. The storage space in the room was amazing which made the place easy to organize and keep clean. I couldn't fill all the drawers, shelves and cupboards available to us. We were delighted to find plates, bowls and silverware for 4 people. Even a small dish soap and a new sponge. Microwave and refrigerator worked well. No freezer in refrigerator. Looking outside our large sliding glass doors was a scene of green grass, flowering trees, a pool and beyond that, the ocean. We could hear the ocean waves in the evening when the pool noise subsided. Chair and table set outside of back door. Nice to eat a small in room prepared meal. The soap, shampoo, lotion bottles were generous size. The in room towels, were soft yet absorbant. The tile floor was attractive but hard on my older feet. Quite appropriate for the sand we managed to bring into the room even though we had a large area of well kept grass between us and the ocean. cons: small lights flashed in room at night. Lots of automated things with small red or green lights. I covered them with wash cloths. The neighbor's water pipes were noisy at night.. The first time I heard them I thought it was a warning sound for a natural disaster and woke my hubby (with ear plugs) up. They sounded like a low volume horn. WiFi in Lobby worked well.

“Right for the money!”

Excellent value for the price! Stayed there for 3 days with husband & two young children. Excellent location, surroundings, right on the beach and in the middle of shopping center with places to eat! Would stay here again. Stay here, you will enjoy your stay!
