“Great place to stay with kids!”

Amazing views and a fabulous pool. Everyone was super helpful. An easy walk to the beach.

“Full of wildlife!”

Gorgeous location, with sea turtles in a cove next to the pool, migrating whales and dolphins seen from our lanai (balcony). Easy 5 minute walk west of condo to swimming and surfing beach or to gardens of nearby resorts. Gorgeous cliff walk to the east. Clean, not super cholorinated pool was a pleasure to swim in. Fabulous, with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores and sites by car. Enjoyed the mix of cooking at the condo and eating out. Crashing waves ARE LOUD so if this will interrupt your sleep, stay elsewhere or bring earplugs and close windows. Fine in Dec with ceiling fans only, but I can imagine it getting too hot in other seasons. Floors needed to be better cleaned. Bedroom facing walkway to other units was loud if others were noisy, but this would be an issue any where that windows were open.

“Beautiful experience”

We loved it here...the waves crashing on the reef were so relaxing and made sleeping so wonderful. The Lanae was a delight to just sit out there and take in all the sunsets, watch sea turtles and dolphins.

“Oh my goodness!!! The kids shrieked with delight when they walked in”

We were all very surprised at the room. We have stayed at Poipu Shores twice before and each time it just gets better and better. Each time we don't know how it could get any better but it does. Rooms were sooo spacious, every morning waking up to spinner dolphins outside your bedroom,, not a shortage of turtles or seals, we even saw a manta ray. We used the BBQ's each day and ate out on the lanai while watching beautiful sunsets. Beautiful pool, well kept grounds, quiet with just the sound of the surf. We will definitely stay at this property again and again.

“You can not get closer to the water- Ocean Front”

Really nice condo that was well furnished. Kitchen was stocked with all appliances and dinnerware. While sitting on the bed, we could watch Sea Turtles. Patio was less than 20 feet from the rocks. Ocean waves crashed pretty loudly, so if you are a light sleeper, you may have some problem sleeping. If you go Mar-Apr, you should see whales migrating north.

“The view was amazing!”

I rented this condo as a wedding gift for my new husband on our honeymoon. We were exhausted when we arrived all the way from Florida, but it was well worth the travel. The condo was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The view was like nothing we had ever seen. We would definitely go back.

“Kauai”

Oustanding value and great location. Very close to great beaches and golf courses, not to mention restaurants. The Resort was quiet at night an never felt crowded even though it appraered to be full most of the time.

“Beautiful views”

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a 2 bedroom condo on the 2nd floor and the views were stunning, the accomodations were clean and and comfortable, and we can't wait to come back!

The Shores was a great place to stay. Location was awesome. The unit we stayed in was dated but very clean and comfortable and everything worked. We couldn't have been happier and we can't wait to go back!
