Friendly and professional staff. The presence of Expedia staff on site to arrange other activities was helpful. Beautiful pool area looking out to the waves breaking on reefs. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the pool area in the mornings and complimentary mai tais in the evenings. The location in Kapa'a was ideal for travel to either the north shore or south shore. Reasonably priced dining options nearby. The hotel restaurant was very good. The happy hour food was excellent.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: Pool and Spa area, location, staff, the free Yoga, the Happy hour special and the free Maitai's
Cons: WIFI very very slow, air con too noisey.
Location: Close to resturants and shops
Pro's, Staff very good, hotel surroundings such as the pool and spa area really relaxing, location in between North and south of the Island. Happy drinks and food was cheap and fantastic quality. Con's, Air con extremely noisey had to turn it off to sleep, WIFI advertised as fast but very slow constantly dropping out. Bathroom very small Was told at check out they would have moved us to another room, I figure these complaints are not new and they should have fixed the problem by now.

Great hotel

Posted Mar 27, 2015
It was a good value. The patios were tiny, but the room was nice, pool was cold but awesome, great location, cool entertainment, service was a little slow in the bar at happy hour but probably because it was busy. Overall, I would come back!

Posted Mar 27, 2015

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Cons:

Beach front location - large comfortable room

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: location (beach front and not too far from airport) and room size (large) and it was quite.
Cons: Better service with the morning coffee (not hot) and area not well maintained.
Location: beach front, hiking areas, nearby places to eat,
The Courtyard by Marriott had a beachfront location at Coconut Beach. A short distance from the Lihue airport. The room was larger than the typical hotel room and very comfortable. The room also had a small patio with table and chairs. There was a nice pool (the water was cold) and a spa (it was warm). Nightly local entertainment (vocalists) in the lounge. Food prices in the lounge/bar were reasonable (paninis about $14). One drink voucher (mai tai or nonalcoholic pineapple, orange, cranberry juice) per guest per day. $20 resort fee included parking, beach towels, drinks, etc. Free coffee in the morning - however it was often not hot, or removed prior to the cutoff time and area not well maintained but it was free). Staff was pleasant and helpful. Price for the room and location was a good value. Would stay there again in the future.
