If you wabt sleep before midnight or after 5am

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Walls thin. Stairway by room noisy until after midnight. Roosters apparently lots of them start crowing at 5am. Room clean and price obviously attractive, but another lesson you pay for what you get.

Nice clean room!

Posted Feb 23, 2015
A very clean room with 1 queen bed and a small fridge, however a bit on the small side. Needed a room for one night and found this to be perfect. Checked in late and staff was very accommodating with check in. I would stay again!

Best low-budget place you can find.

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: great price A/C Free parking Free coffee homey feeling
Location: Kukui Grove shopping ctr. is ok. Lihu'e doesn't offer much excitement, better go Kapa'a:Verde has the best burritos, Brick Oven Pizza = broke da mouth
This place is probably the best hotel you can find without paying the luxury resort style hotel fees. Kaua'i Palms is tucked in a nice corner off Rice Street. It's made up out of several low-rise buildings and some cottage style housing on a quiet street. The place overall has a homey feeling to it. There is a vending machine, some nice couches in a common area, and free coffee from 7 to 9 in the morning! Staff is friendly. Rooms are not big but have everything you need: A/C, TV, mini fridge, closet space, nice big bed, and private bathroom. Parking is free. Kaua'i Palms feels like a home away from home; we're already missing it.

One Night Stay

Posted Feb 17, 2015
You get what you pay for. Okay for 1 night, but not for a week stay. I would recommend it to people who can accept the value you get for the price. If you want something more, go elsewhere.

Nice hotel close to airport.

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Close to airport.
Cons: Continental breakfast would compliment the coffee served.
Location: I stayed to have a place close to the airport, the day before my departure.
I have stayed here a few times. A return customer direct booking discount would be nice. I used Speedishuttle, apparently a regular cab is less expensive.

Basic Budget Hotel

Posted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: Super close to the airport.
Our evening flight to Lihue was delayed about 4 hours, so we arrived at around 4 a.m. Rather than making us feel that we were inconveniencing them, our check-in person made us feel welcome! Most appreciated!

Pros: Close to airport
Cons: I don't think you could do much to sound proof the place
Location: Only stayed one night, good starting off place if you are tired and late getting in.
The walls were paper thin, had to slep when you can hear everything going on in adjoins rooms
