“Luxury in Hawaii”
Can't go wrong with this modern, upto date condo. We will definately go back. Pool is great for the whole family and views are gorgeous. Being in the middle of the island, its easy to get to anywhere you need to go in a short drive.
“like much,but.”
This condo's interiors is very good. good locations,2 big grocery (go" food lands" half prices of safeway). But cleaning staff for inside room need more up grade.Except that, vert good.
“John review”
I've stayed here three times ,the first two were great. This time however I could not believe how much it had gone downhill. The worst part was when I turned On the light in the kitchen and saw all the cockroaches in the sink and dishwasher. I called the front desk they sent someone up to spray for them ,but they were still around yuuuccckkk. We had stayed at the Outrigger Reef in Honolulu, the week prior, and it was wonderful. I also did not appreciate when the staff walked right into the room without knocking, and didn't apologize.
“Ok hotel”
The only thing that disapointed us was there was no service at the pool. I don't know if it was off season or not but the outside service was close. I was looking forward to being waited on. But the rooms were nice and it is centrally located so if you want to go north or south it was equal distance.
“Great Amenitiies”
My family of 4 stayed at this condo resort. The room was great; full kitchen, very nice interior. The pool was great; waterslides for the kids and fantastic sand bottom jacuzzis for the adults. Would have been nice to have a lagoon pool since the beach was not swimmable. We usually stay in Poipu and are used to the resort atmosphere. This location, although, a great central location for outdoor adventure was not a great neighborhood and did not have the same "vacation" like atmosphere as Poipu.
“Met my expectations”
Very nice hotel. Convenient to shopping center across the street. We wanted a king in one room and and two beds in the other and we got a king in one room and a queen in the other. The lady at the front desk was quick to get us another room with 3 beds that was as nice as the original room. We had an air-conditioning problem and once again they were quick to send someone to fix it. The only thing we didn't like was the Oasis Restaurant. Not a full service restaurant and very expensive--didn't seem to fit this hotel. This hotel had several pools, lazy river ride, at least 3 hot tubs, kids pools and waterslides. Beautiful landscaping and very well maintained. The spacious room was extremely nice with dishes, utensils, coffeemaker, blender, toaster, high-end appliances, granite countertops in the kitchen. Our two-bedroom had 3 bathrooms which was a plus. Our room overlooked the pool area with a partial ocean view. There were 3 balconies--one with a table and chairs off master bedroom, one with standing room only off of the living room and one with 2 chairs off of the other bedroom. The beach was nice for laying out, but not for swimming. Other beaches for swimming and boogie-boarding were close by. Given the opportunity I would definitely return.
“Great Place”
This was a wonderful place to stay with a few exceptions. 1. The first 3 x's we had the room cleaned everything was fine . this was a light cleaning. Although one time they made the bed and didnt put pillows back on the bed. (they were on the floor) also they didnt wipe anything down as I expected they would. A. They made up for this little thing (pillows n tables) as I left a nice note to needing some splenda, and additional shampoo. So all in all no biggie! 2. If you are a smoker there really wasn't many places to have a smoke. But that is Hawaii state wide. They could have set a bench or two near a ashtray. 3. Don"t go to the onsite restaruant if you are hungry..To fancy n small serving for a normal person Had to get the hubby a grinder n cheesecake after we ate there. : ( 4. No coffee in the room daily or on site. : ( **NOW FOR THE GOOD** Loved the staff..Everyone was super nice and friendly..Specially Sharon They upgraded the room for us for our honeymoon and that was great... Loved the room- it was very well equipted..even had beach chairs..didnt need anything.. (oops 'cept laundry detg n softner) I had sample sz n that worked great. Loved the pool and hot tub..coy pond was great the first few days - they had toomany coy and had to get rid of 150 so glad i saw it full.. They feed them at 9:05 a.m. everyday I CANT SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT THE OUTRIGGER!! side note..after reading some other reviews I'm glad we stayed here..Wish they had this same place every where
“Kuaui adventure”
The room we booked turned into a big beautiful suite, complete with kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms, gigantic bedroom with king bed and lanai with table and chairs. Amazing! The pool at this location is great: circling through much of the property, great slides and lots of fun. The restaurant on the premises had wonderful food in small portions and high prices. You cannot charge your bill to your hotel account. The only (slight) complaint we had, was that our room faced the street with lots of traffic and that our view consisted 99% of parking lot and street. The only other area of improvement would be to furnish the living room with a larger dining table since dining on the lanai is not always desirable. All in all it was a great place and we hope to return some time.
“Wonderful stay at Waipouli Beach”
Wow! just about sums up this hotel. We really enjoyed everything about the hotel. Extremely large rooms, very nice appliances, even a washer/dryer. Location across the street from Safeway and Bobby Vs pizza were very handy. (While Bobby Vs won't win any culinary awards, you can't beat the six dollar breakfast buffet) Also if you're interested in seeing the whole island, the location is pretty much central in regards to the way the roads run to the north and eastern parts of the island. The kids enjoyed the pool with two water slides and waterfall. The koi pond was also beautiful, the guests get to feed the fish at 9:00AM every morning. Although the beach isn't very good for swimming, we saw a monk seal sleeping in the sand a few yards from the hotel on our first day. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting Kauai.
“Waipouli Resort is great”
The resort was just as pictured, with a large pool/spa area. Room was awesome - very comfortable, provided lots of room to relax. Great kitchen with top of the line appliances so we only went out to eat a few times during the week. I would really enjoy having this bathroom layout at home. The room did not feel like a hotel room. There were two major grocery stores right across the street for easy walking (the poke at Foodland is awesome). If I had any negative thoughts (and this is reaching) it would be that the beach out front was not perfect for swimming due to very close reefs, and the cocktails at the restaurant were very pricy and not worth the visit (signature beet martini was NOT good). Overall, we have already decided that we would be happy to go back here again.
