“Highly recommended!”

My wife and I stayed nearly a week at the Poipu Kapili -- and were absolutely delighted with the property. It's convenient, fully updated, and reasonably priced. Our condo had a great view and was situated to take full advantage of the breezes. It was a great location for day trips to various sites on the western and southern sides of the island. The complex has a very nice pool area, but no hot tub. For those arriving late at night, make sure you have very good directions!

“Lovely”

Even though we had the least expensive one bedroom unit, #19, we were very satisfied. The unit was spacious and two bathrooms are heavenly. We stayed in March so not having air conditioning was not an issue, I would not necessarily feel the same way about a summer stay. Only problem was that our ground level lanai had mosquitoes at all times of day so we ended up not dining and reading there which was a disappointment. I don't think this would be a problem with units above ground level. The Friday breakfast at pool was fun and great way to meet others at this small, well kept compound. We really enjoyed this unit and the very helpful office folks.

“Wonderful spot!”

The condos were fantastic. I had stayed here about 13 years ago and it was even nice this time. The pool is beautiful and the ocean is right across the street. My traveling companion had a slight issue with the sound of traffic on the road between the hotel and ocean, but the sound of the waves virtually drowned out all other noise. The Sheraton is a short walk away so we ate in the ocean front restaurant if we did not feel like cooking in the condo.

Area recommendations
Poipu Beach is fantastic...one of the best on Kauai.
