Lush gardens and lots of birds

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: The lush landscaping was beautiful. Condos are more comfortable than a hotel room and the kitchen was fully equipped. Just bring yourself and food.
Cons: Update fixtures in kitchen/bath. Map didn't indicate bldg.# Pools not heated. Timeshare presentation took 3 hours in middle of day. Wasted a day!
Location: Located in the Princeville resort area. Hanalei Bay is nearby. Otherwise everything else is on other side of island.
This was our first visit to Kauai. The Princeville resort area is beautiful but we don't play golf. Hanalei Bay is close by and that was our interest. We also drove around exploring and had fun. Wyndham offered a discount and $75 AMX card for doing a timeshare presentation, so we thought "why not"? I would not do that again. It was supposed to be a 90 min presentation, that turned into 3 hours. And because our time started at 11:30, the whole day was pretty much wasted. They showed us a beautiful model unit, which looked nothing like the outdated one we were in. We got done at 2pm, hungry and tired. We could only manage a trip to the grocery store and then dinner. Not enough time to really do anything else, since everything else is located on the other side of the island. The Luau was a huge event for hundreds of people and we had to drive an hour to get there. All said, I like a smaller event close to the accommodations. It was pouring down rain on the drive back and this island is very dark at night (not many street lights). I would definitely visit Kauai again, but not so sure about Wyndham Bali Hai. Definitely not another timeshare presentation-ever! it was too cold to use either of the two beautiful pools (un heated) but did enjoy the rock style hot tub. The first night was rough getting to sleep since loud voices from the hot tub went on until past 10pm.

Awesome staff

We were extremely happy with our stay here. We got a 2 bedroom suite and it was very spacious. We flew out on a red eye and they let us check out way later than we were supposed to because we had a baby with us. They also let customers that are flying out later in the day to shower and get ready at unused room they have. Would definitely recommend to others!

Location:

Pros: Pools and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: Sound proofing between bottom and top units.
Location: The location of the hotel is close to a golf course, and about a mile walking distance to beach and walking down to the beaches was steep.
We had a bottom unit by one of the pools, so we had to listen every morning to the loud timeshare presentation and orientation. Also the unit above us was occupied by noisy kids. The complex is very nice, and has 2 lovely pools, so if you are a heavy sleeper, no worries!

Roomy but not the best location.

The rooms are big and clean, but the villas are surrounded by roads and there is no easy access to the beach.
