This hotel is way too expensive for the quality of the room, service personnel, and local amenities.

Pros: Rooms are spacious, beds very good, convenient location, good restaurant.
Location: Well situated to major National parks.
We were traveling through the Great Plains and this was a good spot to stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful at checking, restaurant and gift shop. Will definitely recommend to others

Great Time

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Very close to Monument Vally and Mexican Hat
Cons: The menu.
Location: There is supermarket and fast food very close.
We stayed two nights to see Monument Valley. Hotel is clean roomy and there was two full size beds. Go for the 2nd floor. AC units. Ground floors no AC. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is average. Waitstaff good. On Navaho land he sale of liquor is prohibited. BYOB! Will stay here next visit.

Completely overpriced

Hotel is in a town that no one would probably ever go unless you have a reason, which is Monument Valley.Hotel is really the only building that's secured to the ground (besides the county jail that's one mile away). So if you really have to stay in this town this place is your only choice.Thats why they jack up the price.Overall the place was clean but seemed run down and really outdated. Not worth the $190 we paid in any way.Not to forget that they add a horrendes amount of taxes that no one knew about before . Not even breakfast is included, they charge you $11 for the most generic and frozen stuff.I stayed at a hotel in Maui with ocean view and didn't pay that much for it.So if you are in need of a place to stay you should take on the two hour drive to Page ,I promise you will regret it big time if you don't

Not far from Monument Valley

Posted May 9, 2015
Pros: The Front Desk was very friendly and nice.
Cons: Room doors repaired and outside painted
Location: Not much to to in Kayenta
Motorcycles came in late and were very very noisy. They were up very early the next morning and made noise once again. The door to our room had a gap at the bottom and the door would not open or close very well.

Overpriced under valured experience.

Posted May 2, 2015
Pros: Nothing....but its geographical location
This old, over priceded hotel has only one thing going for it...it's convenient to the start of Monument Valley. Beyond that they add a $75 pet fee and call it a non refundable deposit! Charge if you must, but don't call a fee a deposit! Jim C.

Close to Monument Valley

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Convenient to monument valley
Cons: Staff attitude
Location: Monument Valley is close. There is nothing else to do near by. Very few dining choices in the town.
This hotel is one of only two in Kayenta. It's close to monument valley but the town and hotel lack anything positive to say about them.

We really enjoyed our stay!

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: cleanliness, friendly staff, convenience, the restaurant etc.
Cons: somehow, make your sign more pronounced
Location: Monument Valley was within a half hour drive. A breathtaking must see.
My husband and I just stayed at the Kayenta Monument Valley Inn this past week. We checked in on Saturday and left on Monday. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. Our car was parked right outside of the room so it was convenient to load and unload our luggage. We enjoyed two meals at the restaurant which is beautifully decorated in a Native American motif. It was really nice to know we could get a delicious freshly made meal (the Navajo taco was a huge hit!) without having to go looking for a restaurant. The staff was wonderful as well. We enjoyed chatting with Michele, Sam and Philomena. We would highly recommend that you choose the Kayenta Monument Valley Inn to stay at while enjoying Monument Valley and surrounding areas.

A stopping place

Hotel was great apart from the fact that the dining room was out of action. Not a major problem but a bit inconvenient.
