Pros - Staff was perfect and was very helpful. Rooms were clean and modern, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. Spa was very nice and massage was good. Right next to a large modern mall and lots of restaurants in the local area.
Cons - Room thermostat was broke the first night and I didn't sleep well, the next morning I told them. Upon return they caught me coming in and said there was a problem with the system but they fixed it. I got to the room and turned it on again and the temperature went down, but then the system let it get warm again in the room, I called it in and then they said a person would come to fix it, 30 minutes later they called back asking the problem again. It was late and they didn't offer another room so I just dealt with it. So the two nights I stayed I didn't sleep well. Also, the hot tub was missing adjustment knobs and controls didn't work on a lot of it, plus it was not hot. Also, they advertise king size bed on Expedia, then at the hotel they say it is European king, which is like a double. I am an American, but live/work in Turkey and travel all over and if you post on Expedia say what it really is. I have even seen hotels say two singles pushed together, but it is honest. If it is European king then say that, because when I shop for a room for my wife and I, we look for a normal (American) for space/comfort. I normally don't pick hotels with smaller beds so this is deceiving.

Very nice hotel, with very good restaurant service, great location to visit Cappadoccia (a 45 minute drive), and not spend too much money. In Turkey, you need to be able to bargain because I feel people in the tourism business are extremely ambitious so they will try to charge as much as they can. If you take a taxi find out before what would be reasonable to pay and ask the taxi driver before you get in how much he will charge. The problem is that most taxi drivers in Turkey don`t speak English very well so it can sometimes be difficult to communicate with them. If you ask the hotel people for help it might not really help because you can tell that some will probably get a commission on what you spend. Although there was a young woman who works at the front desk of this Novotel who was very helpful because she recommended for us to go take a taxi to the bus station and then a bus to Goreme which we did and this was a great experience and not too expensive. On our way back to the hotel, we used the airport shuttle and a taxi. The next day instead of taking a group tour, we bargained with a taxi driver and got a tour of the southern part of Cappadoccia and the last day we bargained with another taxi driver to give us a tour of the northern part and back to the airport . It was great !!! If you are ever in Turkey, don`t miss Cappadoccia. It is spectacular and unique in the world!!!!! You should spend a minumun of 2 nights.

The hotel is situated near the town center where most of the attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and provide the basic amenities. Do not expect the staff to speak English as this city is not a hot spot for tourists. However they do their best in answering requests.

We drove in by our car, the entrance did not have enough space to leave the car safely. We were surprised when we opened the door and see the king bed, because we booked double beds. Therefore, we returned to the reception and learned that we need to wait long in order to get double bed room, so we accepted the king bed. The reception personel were nice and kind, but not appeared professional. The room was OK, but there was odd smell inside.
