small room but had everything we needed very quiet

I made my reservation a week prior for a 1 queen bed with a dog for 1 night. When I arrived there, the man at the desk bait & switched me to a 2 double bed for $23.00 extra. He made it sound as if it was my fault that it wasn't clear on my reservation about having a dog. They only give "smoking" rooms to people with dogs and he seemed to indicate that that there were no queen rooms that fit that criteria. I had written down who I had spoken with when making the reservation and that she had assured me that I could have a queen bed with a dog. He argued that point with me and was obviously not going to back down, so I paid the extra $23.00 He also tried to tell me that I had a reservation for 3 nights - fortunately I had a print-out from Expedia showing a 1 night reservation only. To top it off, the room was dirty. The shower curtains were moldy and the sink had not been scoured in some time. I checked under the bed, as I always do with a dog (to make sure no one has dropped a pill she could consume, etc) and it had not seen a vaccuum in a very long time.

The staff appeared to be un-trusting & rude. They Inquired on check-in if I had a pet since my friend had one present. I advised them I did not and told them she was staying at a different location. I also advised the check in staff that I read the rules and I was aware of their policy, signs, etc. The Next morning, I was questioned a second time regarding a pet. This offended me so I invited the clerk to search my room, car to verify my story, since The question came up again. She declined. Upon check out, there was no inquires of my stay, comfort, etc. Just took key and I departed...terrible customer relation skills...

outdated... was out of kleenix on the wall toilet seat was loose, sink was dirty. We would not stay here again unless there was no others available. room is super small..
