“Excellent location”

Very convenient to our travels: relatives and tourist locations. Decent continental breakfast for quick in and out; good cleaning staff. Older, but comfortable.

“Best in Town”

The Alladin was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was quite large and the beds were comfortable.

“Just Okay.”

A little dated and in a odd part of town. Access to upper floor was not very convenient.

“Kelso”

While this hotel was certainly better than some others I had stayed in, the room was hot and humid when I arrived. The hallways seemed dirty (though I don't think they were) and had a/c running, while the windows were open. It just wasn't what I have come to expect in a Best Western. I have stayed in many others, and the last one I stayed in was very nice. This one seemed of the quality of a step barely above Motel 6. Certainly I would stay there again if needed, as this trip was out of a need, but recreationally, I might look somewhere else. Its just hard to describe.

“Good hotel for a one night stay.”

This is an older hotel that is comfortable enough for a one night stay. There is no elevator at this hotel so if stairs are a problem - request a first floor room. The breakfast selections were a pleasant surprise.

“Drunk guests”

My husband and I stayed overnight with our infant son (2 months old) and were waken at 1:32 am by loud, unruly, drunk men in the hallway. They were shouting profanities and being very rude. About ten minutes later we were again startled by a man loudly knocking on their door and loudly saying "Management, open the door" this was repeated 4 times over the course of probably 10 minutes, at which time they finally opened their door and carried on a loud conversation with management. My son was awakened during this whole ordeal and I ended up being up with him until around 4 am. it was not a pleasant stay and I feel that things could have been handled differently.

“Avoid this place at all costs”

Upon arriving at the hotel, we noticed white footprints everywhere including the lobby, down the hall on carpet, and through the parking lot (several sets/not a single set). I inquired about the paint and it was explained that renovation was ongoing and it was Dry Wall not paint. First night stay was ok. The following morning my wife and I departed for the day and put out the "maid needed" sign on our door to ensure that the staff knew we had vacated for the day. We did not arrive back at our hotel until after 9 pm to find the sign still hanging on the door, and no maid service. I presented these facts at the front desk to a young women who was apparently visiting with a friend (behind the desk). She explained to me that the lack of maid service was my fault in that I should not have put out the "maid service" placard. I explained I needed new towels to shower for the evening and she presented me with 2 towels. I returned to the room and took a shower, picked up a towel only to discover she had handed me two bath mats. I sent the wife back to the front desk to explain the problem and ask for a phone number of someone I could call. The manager on duty would not surrender a phone number and restated the the problem was created by me placing out the "maid service" sign. I will not stay at Best Western again.
