Should have slept in my car!

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Easy to see from Interstate exit.
Cons: Fire employees with poor attitude. Perform MASSIVE training in customer service. Build an exterior elevator.
Location: No comment.
No elevator. Only stairs to second level. Check-in clerk at 10:30 p.m. could only talk about how tired SHE was. Gave me poor directions to room. I had 4 luggage pieces as in sales & carried them up wrong stairs. Two keys did NOT open my hotel room door. Hotel room at furthest point from registration. Used my cell phone to call hotel and ask for new key to be made & brought to me, No key after 10 minutes. Called second time. No key in 5 minutes. I walked to the registration desk to acquire replacement key. Fell into bed exhausted at 11:10 p.m. Will never stay at a Red Lion again. Signed, 40 year veteran traveler with 20 - 40 nights / year on the road.

The law of supply and demand - at work.

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Cons: Way too expensive. I don't like to be taken advantage of because of a "take it or leave it" attitude.
This is one of the hotels that "catches" the Seattle to Portland bicycle traffic. Because of the demand, the prices skyrocket. I paid for 3 rooms, 1 night each, cost was almost $800. It's a nice place but it ain't that nice! Next year I will rent a motor home to avoid the local hotels.

Price gouging plus room was across from laundry

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Not only did we have to pay a ridiculous price for one night, $259, plus tax, during the STP weekend, the first room they gave us already had someone in it. Then they gave us a room across from the hotel laundry where they wash all their sheets, towels and other linens 24 hours a day. Before they closed the door on the laundry, it felt and sounded like a jet plane coming through. Very loud in addition to lots of vibrations.

Pros: Convenient to freeway and quiet for a good nights rest.
Location: Lots of eating establishments close by for a variety of choices.
Simple and easy to get in and get out. Did the Seattle to Portland bike ride and the Red Lion was a great place to have a stay over after for one day riders with good eats close by.. Also for two day riders good stopping point for recovery night with easy access back to the ride.

Pros: Typically, I like this hotel. For the price it is reasonable. This stay was awful thanks to Expedia!
Cons: The room choice.
Unfortunately, Expedia gave us the worst room in the entire hotel.

Great price

The price was great and the location was perfect for the fast pitch tournament we attended. The pool was fantastic after a hot day on the fields. The staff was friendly and helpful.

No parking - construction

Posted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: It is close proximity to my meeting location.
Cons: If something outside the ordinary is occurring, let people know at the time of reservation.
typically, this hotel is a great place to stay, however they had construction going on and did not education perspective stayers. Very inconvenient.

Very disappointing-has been allowed to fall into state of disrepair!
