Excellent Location Close to Downtown

Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: The staff - friendly and helpful, well managed establishment, great location - everything worked as it should.
Cons: Nothing - just keep doing it as you are now!
Location: Walk to the waterfront and all downtown shops and facilities.
An excellent property to stay at while in Seward. Right on the waterfront, modern building, top staff and amenities, transport to shipping and train terminals. Great breakfast - one of the best hotels I have stayed at - and i've been just about everywhere in the world!

Nice hotel

Posted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: convenience
Location: Kenai National Park, including Exit Glacier
Very clean; nice continental breakfast. Was within walking distance of SeaLife Aquarium and downtown shops and restaurants. Don't miss Kenai National Park with Exit Glacier on outskirts of town. Parking in on the street, but easy to find in September. Town does close down in mid to late September

Finding a warm safe place!

Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Warmth from hotel and staff. Clean rooms, professional looking staff. Easy layout of hotel, breakfast bar and rooms, staff could help in all ways.
Cons: Parking lot closer to hotel
Location: Seward Sea life Center, Millers point with Kayaking and trails, Historical depot with park along the beach. numerous vendor stores in town.
Finding the hotel was easy. right next to the beach and close to a walking park area and the Sea Life Center. 4th and 5th avenue were all walking distance in this small town. The staff could direct you to any where you wanted to go and see. The room was warm and clean. The staff were out of this world. My daughter and I were down to ocean kayak and stayed the night. Finding a parking spot close to the hotel was the only grumble I could even think about having. The weather was as always with Seward Alaska however the room, hotel and staff were as warm as can be. Please go and use this hotel. :)

Perfect Evening

Check in was fast and pleasant. Room and bed exceeded my expectations. A quick walk across the street to Alaska SeaLife Center Aquarium followed by an excellent diner at Rays. Morning breakfast followed by Kenai Fjords Nat'l Park Cruise. Hated to leave.

Lay over prior to cruise.

Posted Aug 9, 2013
Pros: Breakfast and free Wifi. Great views of Resurrection Bay
Cons: Provide a shuttle to the cruise terminal. Lower price???
Location: Close to Marine center. A must see!
Stayed 2 nights prior to southbound Alaska cruise. Hotel is close to the marine center, free shuttle stop and many restaurants. Located at the other end of Seward and is a fair distance to the cruise terminal. Interior rooms are quite small.

Close to Sea Life Center

Location: Don't miss a Kenai Fjords cruise and Exit glacier.
We stayed in late July after a cruise. The pleasant front desk staff held our bags since our rooms weren't ready. The attractive lobby has menus in a binder and a piano to use! The complimentary breakfast is very good, with eggs, bacon, waffle maker, breads and muffins, English muffins, bagels, cereals, oatmeal pockets, coffee, and juices. Our room had a balcony over looking lobby! The sink is outside bathroom. Quiet and clean, the room has a MWO, refrig, coffee maker, and strong wifi. It was quiet and clean, although the bed was a bit soft for me.

Room was clean. Double beds are just too small. Rooms are very small too. Other than that it was a nice hotel

Typical Best Western, nice location.

Posted Jul 11, 2013
Pros: Good location, well maintained, breakfast included.
Cons: The amenities (soap, etc.) were minimal.
Location: It's across the street from the bay and Sea Life Center, and an easy walk to the rest of the town. Also a convenient shuttle to the nearby harbor.
We had an overnight in Seward between a cruise and an adventure, which turned out to be onJuly 4. We booked the least expensive room, which turned out to be an interior room -- a lucky choice since July 4 is pretty noisy in Seward -- we had to go outside for fireworks, but it was relatively quiet in our room! Room was clean and the wireless worked perfectly. Breakfast was good and there was plenty. The staff was helpful when we arrived early and secured our luggage until our room was ready. We enjoyed Seward as well!
