“Great Hotel on Small Boat Harbor”

Arrived here by train from Anchorage. Someone was at train to meet us and transfer our luggage. They would have taken us, but it was only a short walk from station so we preferred to walk. People at the desk were always helpful when we asked questions. When leaving for cruise they took our bags right to the ship for us. Room was well taken care of the five days we were there. Several restaurants withing just a few minutes walking distance.

The beging of my trip was very stressful so by the time I got to Anchorage, got a car and made the 2hour drive I was very pleased check in was easy. The hotel was great. Good breakfast, great view and the staff was fantastic! I am planning another trip in a couple months and I will not stay anywhere else. I loved it!

“Weekend Vacation”

While the hotel was packed due to a television crew filming, the stay was wonderful! There really wasn't any sign that the place was full, it was a quiet night. My daughter loved the pool, and I loved the feather beds! Breakfast was great, the staff was very friendly, the views spectacular! I will definitely be staying here whenever I go back to Seward. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Everything about our stay was positive. The hotel is very nice, from the lobby to the rooms, pool area, etc. The room was very clean and very nice. Staff was extremely helpful; we brought an extra friend and needed to change one of our rooms to one with 2 beds...they ended up changing both rooms for us to better rooms at no extra charge (it is off-season, so maybe that had a lot to do with it). The free breakfast was surprisingly good...not your danish/juice/coffee "continental breakfast"; I actually got full and enjoyed it thoroughly. Overall, this was a positive stay in every aspect. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Seward!

“Best Place to Stay in Seward, AK”

The experience was great as you would expect from any Holiday Inn. Checked in pretty late and the room was ready. Not unlike other places where you have to settle with second rate room if you check in at 11 at night. The location was awesome, parking was free and breakfast was good. The location is close to other attractions too so don't have to move your car. The rooms were clean with small fridge and microwave. Views from the rooms are great. Staff was polite and helpful and let us check out late without any extra charge. That helped since we had a two year old with us. Overall, a great experience and if you are in Seward, AK, Holiday Inn is the best place to stay.

“Great View with all the basics”

Harborside rooms overlook the spectacularly beautiful Seward harbor. We couldn't take enough pictures. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful with good recommendations for the local restaurants. The room was comfortably large and well-appointed. The fact that plugs were set up so that we could not use both refrigerator and microwave at the same time was an annoyance. The refrigerator sounded like a small earthquake each time the compressor came on, which is probably why the refrigerator was unplugged when we checked in. The handicapped-accessible shower dumped water all over the bathroom floor. Room was not vacuumed daily. In spite of these minor complaints, the great view and the extremely helpful hotel staff made this a hotel that we would recommend.

“Holiday Inn in Seward a winner”

The Hotel is located right in the harbor, with view of the cruise ships and mountains. It had a surprisingly good breakfast buffet and excellent coffee in the morning. All around a very good place to land in Seward.
