Great view with perfect locationPosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Location, breakfast.
Location: Ray's seafood. The downtown park with scenes of Resurrection Bay is about a mile away.
Perfectly enjoyable with clean rooms, nice staff, great location, nice scenery and really good breakfast. Close to all attractions. Go to the nearby dock between 5 and 6 to watch the fishing boats bring in the days catch.

Nice hotel, great locationPosted Jul 10, 2014
Stayed two nights for our first visit to Seward. The hotel is centrally located yet quiet. It is perfectly located at the small ship harbor where most of the fishing charters and fjord tours originate. There are multiple coffee houses, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. Hotel staff was friendly an accommodating.

We loved our stay at Holiday Inn Express in SewardPosted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Nice room.
Cons: We were a bit worried about the plastic plates, cups and cutlery that gets thrown in the rubbish bin every morning after breakfast.
Great room with a view of the harbour and mountains. Excellent location.

Great view of Resurrection Bay !!!Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: View of the bay. Friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfast selection.
Location: Very convenient to restaurants and land excursions offices.
The location of the hotel can't be beat if you are getting off the cruise ship for a short stay. Easy 10 minutes walk along the main road. The hotel faces Resurrection Bay marina and offers a wonderful, peaceful view with a boardwalk towards the downtown area. 5 minute walk to most excursion offices for local cruises and great restaurants next door. We had a wonderful seafood dinner at Ray's. The hotel condition is fair but the best thing is the staff... who are all cheerful and helpful. We loved our 2-night stay.

Great location and hotelPosted May 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is located in a great location: very close to the train station, the Kenai fjords cruise tour, and food. Service is very good. They can send the postcards for you, and store the luggages for you after you check out.

WOW, what a view!Posted May 21, 2014
The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. Two queen size beds for 4 adults fit fine. The counter in the bathroom was wonderfully long to fit 4 of our makeup bags at one time. The only thing I didn't like about the room was that we had the view of the parking lot but then we didn't spend much time looking out the window. The lobby was nicely laid out with seating places for comfort as well as a nice seating area. The breakfast buffet had quite an arrangement of choices. The view from the breakfast area was fabulous looking out over the mountains and the marina. Great view!!!

Breakfast was quite good and the view of the small boat harbor on a sunny Seward day couldn't be beat!
