This is an interesting property. First, the Pros - The property sits on a high bluff overlooking Cook Inlet. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest above the office; which was cozy and had a nice deck to look out over the inlet. We asked for and received a couple more firm pillows. There is a communal hot tub, and a large fire pit; neither were used by us. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Now, the Cons - The suite we stayed in was fairly close to the highway, so there was a lot of traffic noise. Our room was located up a long flight of stairs; so trudging our heavy suitcases up and down them was not desirable and no help was offerred by the staff. My wife and I are elderly, so..... The cooking facilities are limited to an outdoor grill with a side burner and a microwave, and only a skillet and a sauce pot. We did manage to cook up a meal of the fresh halibut that we caught; but don't plan for any major efforts of "many pan meals". There's plenty of rustic charm here, but I can't say it was the best choice of venue for us.
