Absolutely perfect stay in Kennebunkport! Each room opens up to the water out the back door. Parking is close to front door as well. Two minute walk to food and shops. Also beach is just a short walk down the road. We were very happy with this hotel!

Nonantum Resort is a large resort in close proximity to the ocean and downtown Kennenbunkport. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. A restaurant, poolside dining/bar, and a bar/lounge are all on site amenities. There is easy access to ocean cruises. The restaurant food, while pricey, is excellent. On the down side, a small bottle of water is $3.50, but there is a mini fridge and Keurig that are free. The 3rd floor portside rooms have a queen bed that is too small and uncomfortable for two large adults. The room also needs blackout curtains as the room was well lit with daylight at 5:00am. A large shelf needs to be added in the bathroom to store toiletry and shaving bags. The room's decor is really nice and the views out the window are spectacular. Overall, I would definitely stay there again but would want a larger room with a king size bed. Unfortunately, all of those rooms were sold out when we booked.

Sarah is the hostess you dream about. Her guests are just as wonderful.
Homemade treats and cheese and crackers in the afternoon and drinks and coffee available around the clock.
The room was the hideaway and she was apologetic about that. After booking call them. You won't be sorry. It's a great place.

Well we go to Maine quite often and we have never stayed in Kennebunkport so we decided to give them a try. I was very impressed from the moment I walked in and the greeting we received at the front desk. The women at the desk was very informative and she even gave us an upgrade to our room with no extra fees, they even include breakfast. They have a restaurant and a little pub area where you can enjoy live music on Friday and Saturday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We booked here because of the position and history of the place. Whilst the room that we had was not well-equipped by today's standards it was clean, comfortable and had a nice view over the water. The overall experience was good and I would stay there again.

Since the 19th century, the resort area has attracted affluent residents including the former U.S. president George H.W. Bush whose mansion on Walker Point is visible from Ocean Avenue. In warmer months, tourists converge on Dock Square at the town center and hop aboard trolleys for guided town tours. At the Seashore Trolley Museum visitors can view a collection of more than 250 trolleys and streetcars.
