Great for groups and Teams

Posted Jul 25, 2015
I had a team of people with disabilities who were travelling to national championship competition. I needed rooms bug ejough and accessible enough for a 4 day stay. Staying at embassy suites was like renting apartments. Sleeper couch beds. A mini kitchen and huge comfy beds, not to mention accessible bathrooms. Made everyone feel like home for a few days. The staff was very accomodating. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour was the perfect plus to the cost of travelling from New York.

Passing through

Posted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Better sofa beds
Location: The location was great.
Five of us were travelling through Georgia. We chose this hotel because we needed the space, so we specifically wanted a double bed suite with a sofa bed. The sofa was torn in several places. When we pulled the bed out, it was a VERY thin mattress and it slanted downward. We alerted hotel staff and the engineer was sent; we asked for the manager also. They looked at the bed and apologized, offering a 15% discount. We booked this through Expedia, so I don't expect to see a discount applied to my account (don't see it yet), but it was the worst sleeping experience, especially after a two day road trip to get back home. I won't book Embassy Suites again, if I'm travelling with my family. They can't offer decent sleeping accommodations for large families.

Run down rooms

Posted Jun 15, 2015
I stayed for two nights in a king suite. When I checked in the front desk woman told me she was giving me an "upgrade" with free wifi. Almost every hotel has free wifi so that this was considered an upgrade was surprising. When I got to the room, the leather couch was ripped, lampshades torn, the AC did not work and when I opened the windows I had a view of nothing but the roof duct work. The bed was decently comfortable but the room smelled moldy and dingy. To top it all off- the bathroom toilet stopped working. Overall I was disappointed in every aspect of this hotel except the breakfast.

Dinning area too small and out dated, I've been staying there 3 of the last 5 years, no change.

Poor Management

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was very good, cooked to order eggs.
Location: Traffic all around
We paid extra for a Premium Suites Floor. Yet came back for a shower at 3 pm and our premium suite was not made up, and when we asked the housekeeping person on our floor for clean towels she said she didn't have any, and she didn't think there were any available. I had to go down to the front desk to request some and wait. Also was supposed to have access to free snacks and drinks, but four of our choices were out of stock. Had to go to the front desk for a bottle of water.
