Very disappointing stay.

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: They need new towels, clean stairwells and breeze ways as well as provide better soap.
Location: Good location and plenty of good places to eat/movies, etc.
I asked for a wash cloth because there was only one in the room. The house keeper did not return for the weekend. The towels did not appeared to be washed with clorox, and looked old. The stairwells were dirty and foul smelling. The two bars of soap were very small, approximately 2.5x 2 inches. The floors are of cheap material (laminate ?) Via Expedia I requested a 3 night stay and was given an Out- the- door price. Upon arrival the price I had was for 2 nights, hence i had to pay for the 3rd night which gave rise to paying more than promised.

Poor amenities but inexpensive hotel

Posted Jul 6, 2015
The sink was broken (no water), the room phone was broken, the door latch was broken (the lock was fine). On the second day of our stay, room service took away all the towels and didn't leave replacements. Pros: staff was friendly, room was clean enough and was relatively inexpensive. Close to highway, restaurants, and the mall.

Never again

Called in advance about early check in, and was told that would be fine only to arrive and be told no room was available so we sat in the hot car for an hr and a half too tired from our trip to go exploring. When we arrived 4 police cars we're on the premises taking care of some incident. Finally got to the room, and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks so I could not understand why we had to wait to check in. Had to strip all linen off the beds spray everything down with lysol and clean bathrooms with bleach and request new linen. Purchased our own blankets to sleep under, and $3 sandals from Target to use in the shower. Checked out a day early and lost out on the money and did not care because we were so uncomfortable. House keepers come early in the morning, and if you are not ready for them your loss because they leave by noon. Needless to say our rooms were not tended to either of the two days we stayed. You get what you pay for and the $80 a night was not worth it. Spend the extra cash for comfort.

Not worth it

Posted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Everything
We booked a non smoking room. It should just say none available. The entire hotel from the front lobby to the soda machine area were all reeking of smoke. The bed linens were either dirty or stained and so worn you could see through the sheet. The bathroom was so ill lite that we had to leave the door open so we could see. Not worth the price you paid. Pop for few extra bucks and go somewhere else.

Pros: seeing it in the rearview mirror
Cons: clean the rooms and get a exterminator
Location: Location was fine
This serves as a Warning to other travelers - STAY AWAY from this insect ridden, nasty hotel. I looked at the expedia photos -the wood floors sold me at once because hotel carpets are disgusting and Red Roof Inn was a chain I recognized I felt safe about booking. We had driven a long time and arrived about 11pm, outside the hotel looked older but maintained and check-in was fast and easy. We went into the room at first it looked ok, we brought our belongings in changed and started to get settled that's when we saw the 1/2 empty pork rind bag on the coffee pot, then a 1/2 drank bottle of water in the fridge - even with that we were so tired we just tossed it in the trash and since the room looked clean (after a quick look around and check of the sheets) we decided to just stay. We went straight to bed but about 2 hours later I started to feel something biting my leg so I jumped up, turned on a light, tossed off the sheet on there was a FLEA in the bed. I woke my daughter up to shake out the sheets and let her go back to sleep - I should have gotten them up to leave then. By the time we left we noticed a fly buzzing around the room and ants crawling around the bathroom. Like I said we should have walked out after the discovery of the pork rinds & water but we were so tired we stayed. At check out I told the clerk about everything his reply was " It's a free standing structure and THE ANTS CAME IN AFTER THE CHIPS" and pointed to a no refund sign. NIGHTMARE

Ok for place to sleep

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: Attendant helpful and polite. Room clean
Cons: Clean up trash all around outside, better mattresses, stopper in bath tub.
Location: Lots of restaurants and right off interstate 75
The desk attendant was polite and helpful, but when heading toward our room trash was all over ground, beers cans sitting around, guys hanging off back of trucks. You could smell cooking being done like people lived their full time. Our room was clean, beds ok, no stopper in tub so I couldn't soak my bad back.
