“Okay for quick stay”

Stayed at another Wingate during this trip and found this one to be in need of some TLC. Was told it was recently renovated, but room still needed some care. Tile floor in bathroom had two different tiles, looked like they replaced half and not the other half. Wallpaper at corners was peeling. Beds were comfortable and had good linens. The shower head was great. Have never seen one like it and would love to have one at home with me.

“rude management”

My room had no air so it was extremely hot all night long. I only st.ayed there to see my grandmother who was in the hospital and I drove in late thn at night. The manager rolled her eyes when I walked up to talk to her about our air. She was just very rude and not helpful at all.

“Won't be staying here again”

After a couple of hours of relaxing in our room we notice a foul sewage smell coming from the bathroom. When we went in there to investigate, there was nothing out of the ordinary. We could not see where it was coming from. No leaks, no running water,the bathroom appeared to be clean but had this foul smell. Because it was late and we were exhausted we just shut the bathroom door and went to sleep. The next morning the smell was gone, but did return later that night(weird). Also the mini fridge in our room did not work, the ice bucket was very dirty with brown smudges on it. The drapes in the room do not close so you cannot block out the light from outside. There is a sheer curtain that you can open and close but it doesn't blockout light. Other than that the room was good, Comfortable beds, flat screen TV, very friendly staff and the breakfast they provide is not great but not bad.

“Terrible nights sleep”

Other guest were running, talking loud, and make all kind of noise in the halls at 12:30am till 2:30am in the morning.

“Not a good place to stay.”

The breakfast was nice and the hotel was in good visible condition...... that is the only two nice things about the hotel. The staff was rude and very unhelpful. The beds were miserably uncomfortable and the in-room fridge was broken. This problably would not have been that big of a deal if the staff would have switched my room, but they refused to do anything. They were completely indiferent to say the least. I looked thourgly at the hotels in Kennesaw and thought I had one that would provide a nice place to stay. WRONG. I would never stay here again nor would I recomend it to anyone.

“Long Island NY couple”

Very disappointed. Room needed painting and sprucing up in general. Cleanliness was not paramount to this facility. Looked clean to the eye but when picked up phone receiver the base and receiver filthy. Found all little hints of lack of attention to cleanliness in our room. The safe did not work even after calling this to the attention of the desk. We were told that the safe needed to have the battery placed in it since the safe will beep if battery left in safe from previous use. Told they would place battery and this was done. However, safe was still defective and could not be used. My question is why were we not told at check-in that if safe was to be used a battery would need to be installed! I used exercise room which was also in need of a cleaning! Machines looked like they were never wiped down/cleaned. No towels in exercise room although there was a beautiful empty towel holder. Exercise room unbearably hot, no temperature control available. TV in room on, no mechanism to change channel. Location of hotel somewhat off the beaten path. Followed GPS which took us to a driveway entrance that was blocked off by chain. Finally found the entrance after driving through a Costco, and other parking lots using our own sense of direction. Those with a poor sense of direction...! When we inquired at check in about the address we were told that address was, in fact, different than the address listed for the hotel. WHAT!!! Usually not complainers but...!
