"A clean, spacious suite in an outstanding location"
I travelled to London with my husband and 9 year old daughter last week and we had the pleasure of staying at the Collingham Serviced apartments for 3 nights. The apartments are beautiful and nicely updated, the location is terrific - walking distance to shops, restaurants and 2 underground stations and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had a small issue when checking in with regard to the rate Expedia had charged us (the check-in slip showed that we would have to pay an additional 30 GBP/night for the sofa bed) - but the manager said he would take it up with Expedia and didn't charge us. We really enjoyed the spacious suite and appreciated access to an unexpectedly large private outdoor terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a bosch washer/dryer combo and all of the appliances are new. The mattress was a bit harder than we are used to, but it didn't leave us with sore backs. On our next trip to London, we will absolutely stay here again.

"Excellent hotel"
We only stayed one night but the staff were really welcoming and helpful, the room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. And it is only a short walk to the tube station. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

"Good Hotel for Visit to The Royal Albert Hall"
Found all the staff very obliging, cheerful and friendly. Refurbishment being carried out at present so restaurant is upstairs in the Bar. This is OK but not for a special night out! Convenient for a walk in Kensington Gardens and through to The Serpentine. Plenty of shopping and small restaurants in Kensington.

"Staff exceptionally helpful"
first i arrived 3 hours pre book in time as i was ill and in need of a bed and the staff arranged a room for me immediately without quibble. After i was feeling better i did ask to move rooms as i had a small queen sixe bed and also had the airconditioning plant right outside my window and they immediately moved me to a room with a king size and no outside noise. Although we didn't actually eat at the hotel all the facilities seemed very good but the staff were always helpful and happy which makes SUCH a difference to your stay. it is also a great location for a hotel in London.

"Perfect London experience"
Due to work I live in hotels in the US for two months a year. Many different hotels. When choosing a hotel for my wife's and my vacation I read many reviews of many places. This is my first review to write, ever. We loved our stay and would love to go back. Yes, it isn't cheap nor is it a typical American hotel. It's in London. It is in a lovely part of the city. 4 minute walk to the tube. Surrounded by nice places to eat. Very old English. So if you're looking for a modern, spacious, cheap place then go somewhere else. If you want a traditional, cozy, romantic place, I can't reccomend anything better. The staff were incredible, the shower was amazing and the decor was traditional. I did get hot at night, but my wife was very comfortable. It was chilly at night so I can't complain that the heat worked. Some reviews complained that you had to turn your key in when leaving and pick it up on arrival. This was always a very fast transaction and one less thing to keep track of while exploring the city. The wifi was very strong and so was the coffee. Complimentary water each day with a newspaper. I can't say a single thing bad, except there is a trick to figuring out how to lock and unlock the door. Skeleton keys are something I'm just not accustomed to. That was me reaching for a complaint. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
