"Superb hotel with outstanding service"
My husband and I stayed at the Milestone while visiting London to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Because we arrived in the morning and our room wasn't quite ready, the hotel treated us to champagne and scones. On our first night the staff surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries and strewn rose petals all around the room and bathroom. The staff was extremely attentive to our every need and was constantly seeking to make our stay as lovely as possible. We had a delightful high tea one afternoon served with champagne. Breakfast was absolutely delicious - we didn't have a single item that disappointed (the Eggs Benedict, Soufflé pancakes, omelets, and scones were delicious!) Prior to our arrival the concierge, Jose, recommended some sight seeing activities including an exclusive tour of Buckingham Palace that we would have missed thinking the Palace was not open in April (this turned out to be the highlight of our trip).

"Great hotel, close proximity to tube stop."
We stayed for 8 nights. The head concierge, Mario, was excellent. he arranged transport to and from the hotel to the airport: helped us with everything we needed. Zoltan , Alex, and the General Manager were very accommodating and kind. Don't care for most hotel breakfasts but this was very good as was the service. Proximity to tube stop made it easy to get to ALL sights and shopping. We went to Hampton Palace, National Gallery, Portrait Gallery,Westminster, Banqueting Hall, Trafalgar Square, St. Paul's, Tower Bridge, Tate modern, Buckingham Palace for the changing of the guard,Tower Bridge, Sherlock Museum, and shopped at Harvey Nics, Bond Street. Best places for gifts at sights were Tower of London and St. Paul's. Oyster card great, Check what sights you want to see before you buy the London pass.

"Great place in a great location!"
This is a wonderful place to stay if visiting London. South Kensington is full of wonderful restaurants and lots of great things within walking distance, and of coarse all of London is within easy reach on the tube for which there is a stop just five minutes from the hotel.

This was a great hotel in a very nice area, within walking distance of the subway, a Whole Foods store and some great restaurants. Friendly staff and nice room. We would stay there again.
