"A lovely hotel"
The staff at the hotel are all friendly & efficient-nothing was too much trouble. The room was large & the bed one of the most comfortable I've slept in. Only a couple of minor glitches: I would have liked some water in the room The bathroom waste bin had not been emptied from the previous guest

"Seeing some more of the sights of London."
On the first night in the hotel, I ordered a round of drinks at the bar. When I then returned to the bar later in the evening for an other round of drinks the Barman enquired as to whether I wished the "same again - doubles". That comment led to a short discussion requiring clarification on his part that at no time during the ordering of the first round of drinks did I mention the words "make them doubles". The bar bill did show I had been charged for "doubles" but after further discussion this was amended to show the cost of "singles". Unfortunately, this incident left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. The term "rip off" easily came to mind. Breakfast time was really a bit of a lottery. Menu was very good but the system of pricing was unclear. Although individual dish prices were evident, when the bill was presented for signing on leaving the restaurant, it became apparent that no matter what the group I was with chose to eat, be it kippers or cereal, etc., each person at our table was charged £10.50. The restaurant staff were very polite and courteous but were unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for this practice. The above experiences were, at the time, irksome, but I can assure you the general opinion of my group of friends was positive and would not hesitate to return. We commend the friendliness of staff and the excellent cleanliness of our accommodation. I look forward to booking with you next time I visit London.

Nice little hotel very well located close to South Kensington tube station, restaurants around, museums close by, Harrods at a walking distance. Only bémol is the size of the room which is tiny for the double room with Queen bed.

"GREAT HOTEL"
VERY CLOSE TO THE TUBE STATION WHICH MADE IT VERY EASY TO GO FROM A TO B. A LOVELY HOTEL, WITH FRIENDLY STAFF WHO COULDN'T DO ENOUGH FOR US. I HAD BEEN THERE MANY YEARS AGO, BUT IT WAS MUCH BETTER THAN I REMEMBERED. THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, AND IT WAS NICE TO ACTUALLY SEE THE CHEF MILLING AROUND CHECKING THINGS WERE OK FOR EVERYONE. NORMALLY THEY ARE HIDDEN IN THE KITCHEN!! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO ASKED, AND WE WILL USE THE HOTEL AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

"Bucket List trip to London"
Our Hotel was close to an Underground which allowed access to all the attractions we wanted to see. I suggest you get a underground pass which made riding subway easy. The people of London were friendly and helpful when they noticed we had our map out. Didn't have to ask, they just walked up to help! There were various types of restaurants near each attraction.

"Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. "
This was our 3rd stay at this hotel and each time we had large well appointed rooms. We sprung for club rooms each time so I can't comment on the standard rooms. The staff go beyond being curteous and helpful. I praise them all, including the restaurant staff. I do wish the club lounge would extend it's hour beyond 8 AM to 8 PM as we would have enjoyed accessing it at 7AM most mornings. Another important plus is it's location across the street from the tube station and very handy to shops and restaurants.
