Welcoming hotelPosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Nice reception area
Cons: Rooms require attention
Hotel staff were very helpful. Breakfast choice was very good Hotel room was ok for a 1 night stay. I did feel that the room lacked any character and could have benefitted from a repaint, new carpet and a few pictures on the walls. The bathroom was okay but again it appeared quite dated and the shower wasnt very powerfull. parking area was good and hotel was in a quite central location.

Visiting relativesPosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Very clean and comfy hotel. Beds were very comfortable .
Cons: A bit dated but ideal for the price we paid.
Location: Hotel within easy reach of Maidstone. (Not walking distance)
the hotel was ideal for us as we were in Kent visiting relatives. And we would check this hotel out for availability and price when visiting Kent again.

Quiet hotel with a nice gardenPosted Apr 25, 2014
Pros: Garden, food.
Cons: Shower. Water heating.
Location: Quiet residential neighbourhood. Close to town centre. Good car parking. On bus routes.
Pleasant foyer with cheerful and helpful staff. Decor plain and neutral. No lift. Comfortable large double bed. Shower old and difficult to turn on and off with unstoppable drip. Water was cold on one morning out of three. Breakfast was excellent with good variety of cereals, self-chosen muesli materials, fruit, croissants, toast, home-made preserves, cooked breakfast. Dining room was bright and cheerful. Good value economy hotel.

Good for one nightPosted May 29, 2013
Turned up and were given a disabled room (which was obviously a part time function room with pull down beds). we asked to be moved and after being told they were full for the night were given a twin room on the top floor which was much better. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large with a good shower and separate bath if required. Only stayed one night and went out for dinner and left before breakfast so can't say what the food is like.

Good hotel suitable for familiesPosted Jun 5, 2011
We only stayed for one night in this hotel but we loved it. We brought our six year old twins and they were just as welcome as any other guests. In fact, it appeared to me that the staff enjoyed having them around as guests. As for the room and the hotel itself, surely some things could be improved but doesn't that apply to most hotels?
