Great for grown-upsPosted Aug 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a brief wedding anniversary treat. Absolutely perfect - no need for spas, gym, pool etc as we had limitd time, so we didn't feel we'd missed out. Service was really personal and friendly. We should have booked for dinner but it worked out better relaxing with a few drinks before sitting down and having two courses of exquisitely cooked starters at 9.30 but that was just what we wanted at that time in the evening. It was a bit tricky getting space for a late Sunday breakfast, but that's understandable. This was not express buffet dining. My only reservation was that the annex/stable rooms would get hot in the summer and the hot water was a bit on the cool side in the shower. I wouldn't recommend it for children, although the grounds are beautiful, it really is a venue more suitable for adults.

Food expensive and not particularly good, noisy children from a wedding running around during the evening

Fantastic ServicePosted Jan 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Outstanding service - a couple of minor quibbles on arrival...sorted out immediately and better than we could have hoped for by staff. We've stayed before and will DEFINITELY stay again.

Nice Hotel, great food, nice grounds.Posted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: Staff and Service
Cons: Entrance and corridors to outer building bedrooms.
Location: Leeds Castle is 5 miles away. an annual ticket is £21, expensive for one day but if you intend going back within a year good value. Channel Tunnel
Short break. Ideal for Channel Tunnel. Food super, not cheap though wouldn't expect that. Waiting staff are superb and all the staff could not do enough to help. So service was brillian. Stayed in one of the rooms away from hotel - entrance to this area smelt a little damp and carpets were well worn so first impression was not good. Room good. No pictures on the walls. M20 was noticeable on second night. But it was a still night. The previous night when it was windier it was not at all noticeable. Overall a great stay.

good servicePosted Nov 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
the staff were very willing and polite and nothing was too much trouble. The building is wonderful and gracious. However,we stayed for three nights and were disappointed that the menu did not change in that time, although the food was very good. The lighting provided by the bedside lights was so poor that we could not read in bed, and we found the "turn down" service irritating and unnecessary.

Wonderful relaxing timePosted Sep 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Went there as a special treat before my partner was flying out, wonderful relaxing time, with the food in the restaurant to die for. Proper service from all the staff without being constantly in view. Can't recommend it enough.
