Not a good hotel stay.

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Room was clean and nice.
Cons: Management
Location: Kent State University
The hotel itself was nice, but the people in the room above me were jumping on the floor, dropping things constantly. I called the front desk numerous times especially after 2:30 a.m. and after each call the noise only got worse. They finally quit their noise at around 3:30 when the heater/air conditioner starting leaking and the constant dripping on the carpet was worse than the Chinese water torcher. When inquiring at the desk in the morning the front desk attendant explained there wasn't anything she could do but talk to her Manager. I have stayed there numerous times, but not again. I do everything in my power to keep noise down for other guests, but the people above me were doing their best to annoy me and the management did virtually nothing.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing, it was a really wonderful place to stay.
Location: Close to the freeway, and there are a million things to do in nearby Kent!
Overall a great experience. The room was fantastic--clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and made us feel at home. The staff were friendly and professional, and did all they could to make our stay a good one. We'll do it again soon.

The floor of my room was wet. Upon checking out I was telling them about the floor being wet and all they had to say about it was "yeah, it must have rained."

Ok except for the stain on the carpets. Breakfast was typical scrampled eggs and sausage

Central location, close to downtown and shopping

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: Location, pool, breakfast
Everything about my stay was great until I went to check out and they charged me for the safe which I didn't use. I've stayed in Comfort Inns before and usually they ask you if you used the safe. I honestly didn't even realize it was there until I was getting ready to leave so I certainly didn't use it. Although it was only $2, it was the fact that they charged me without asking. I told the person at the checkout that if they wanted to charge everyone for the safe, they should just include it in the room rate. I requested that the charge be removed from my credit card.

Pros: The sauna, whirlpool and free newspapers
Cons: The overall cleanness of our room.
Location: Cuyahoga Valley National Park and shopping at the Aurora Premium Outlet Mall.
I would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget. For the cost of this hotel it was a good buy as it offered an indoor pool, sauna and whirlpool. The rooms were comfortable but looked well used. We had to change rooms because our safe was inoperable. We also had problems with the safe in the second room but the hotel staff was able to get it working. Overall I would say that room did provide us with a decent place to return to after spending the day enjoying the Cleveland/Akron area.

Pros: Location. Room attractively decorated and bed comfortable. Free wi-fi.
Cons: Sound proofing. Employee training.
Location: Near Kent State University.
Could hear other guests voices and televisions late into the night. Also plumbing sounds. Unable to sleep well despite a comfortable bed. Upon departure the desk clerk was totally uninterested and walked away to speak to another employee. Would not stay at another Comfort Inn.
