“Looks can be deceiving- Be Informed”
This hotel looks great from the outside. Neighborhood seemed so-so. Our room was very small, but that was OK. Our first night, someone banged on our room door at 1:00am. Of course, we did not answer. Half an hour later, police arrived & took care of it. Upon arrival, we were informed that we would NOT receive any maid service during our stay. We were to bring dirty/used linens to the office for replacements. The staff was friendly, but had little knowledge of the area (ie. directions) Having the mini-kitchen & common laundry room was great. Our room came with only one chair, so we requested a 2nd kitchen chair so we could eat togther, but never got one. Shower curtain was useless, as water went everywhere anytime we showered. Lots of kids and smokers in the hotel. We could not leave our window or door open for fresh air, as I am terribly allergic to smoke. Just FYI... this hotel works with the local homeless poplulation via a voucher system. (We were OK with that.) Entire families stay in these tiny rooms. Wow. Small color TV and alarm clock in the room. (They do not offer wake up call service) There is a large grocery store next door, and pleanty of fast food in the area. This hotel is located in the flight path of Sea-Tac Airport. Lots of noise overhead. Good parking though. While we will not be returning to this hotel, it's probably great for the single traveler, just passing through. Ask for David. He was great.
“stays in wonderland”
It was cool. I didnt have high expectations based on price and locaton so I got what I paid for. I jut wanted a place to sleep for the night I was in town so it worked for me. No problems or complaints for me.
“Good working class hotel”
Crossland is a decent working class hotel catering to extended stays, but there are also travelers and families there. It is bare bones, but clean, reasonably comfortable, and a good deal. The room is standard size, but with a small galley kitchen with the basic essentials. The drawback for travelers is that it is 5 miles south of the airport and there is no shuttle. Access is easy on Int'l Boulevard and parking plentiful and free. Restaurants are close by.

“Stay away!!!!”
Don't stay here!! This place is not safe with shady characters around. Beds are cheap swap meet quality. Hardy got a good nite sleep. Pillows were flat and the rooms had no hair dryer or iron. Walls are paper thin. U could hear ppl next room talk and snore. Save money and sleep bye going to motel8 or something. This place is not worth the $.
“yay for new sheets..sike”
I stayed there for about 13 days I believe and my "room service" days were every Tuesday and I NEVER got any. I'd come back to the hotel later on the day's because of business meetings and everything would be how I left it. Front desk people were nice and I had to get my own new towels. Other then not having new sheets everything was fine.
“whatever”
longterm stay hotel, cable offering a little disapointing, but your kitchenette includes large and small burners and dishes. The staff comes across helpful, but not friendly.
“A pleasant surprise in a sea of low end crappy motels.”
Had some difficulty finding the place because it's actually in Des Moines so turned the wrong way when exiting I-5. It's west of I-5. The room was great with cooking and refrig + laundry facilities great for a long stay even tho' we only spent one nite. First experience with this hotel. Would be great for long stay as the staff hooked us up with great dining experience by bay and many services are close by like carwashes and shopping. Didn't know this is primarily an extended stay facility but sure is a pleasant surprise and a great price value even for a short stay of a day or two. Will look for this marque in future travels.
“Suprisingly nice for the price”
Room clean. Back from the street so pretty quiet. Good value for the money. Near to shopping, so using the kitchenette worked well. If you are just looking for a room with a bed, TV, and kitchen this place works. Don't let the Kent city sign warning of the penalties for prostitution activities worry you. They are all over town. The signs, I mean
“Fabulous Rate for no Frills”
Amazingly great rate with a kitchen and a close to everything Seattle. Just double check that houskeeping cleaned under your bed!
