The hotel is finePosted Nov 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
With a Holiday Inn you know exectly what you are going to get so there is no surprises with the accomodation and food. Service, well, there were not always staff at the reception and during busy periods there was a bit of a wait to get a drink at the bar and up to two hours to receive your food order on the saturday evening which is not ideal. But the hotel was comfortable, convenient location and I got a good rate. This was my first stay at this hotel as the rate was much cheaper than the Bridgewood Manor Hotel around the corner. However, whenever I can get an equivalent or near equivalent rate, I would definitely prefer to stay at the Bridgewood Manor where I have stayed a number of times.

Good clean hotelPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Good location. Included swimming pool and jacuzzi.
Cons: The price could have been lower: it was £60 per night.
Location: Leeds Castle and Ightham Mote.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had all necessary facilities. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean.

Convenient location for Rochester CathedralPosted Oct 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Reasonable, but slightly overpriced. Wi-Fi charge was exorbitant, when almost every other hotel offers it free.

Great service, good location, better than expectedPosted Oct 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed for 2 nights on business. Very friendly staff, room very clean and everything in good condition. Decent size HD TV in room. Good access to shops (ASDA, Takeaways, SPAR ect only minutes away). Great parking facilities. Restaurant food at night is delicious and a lot better than you would expect. If you eat in the restaurant at night, look out for Alan (waiter) who is far too good for Holiday Inn!

A pleasent hotelPosted Sep 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is excellent and I would certainly stay there again should I have any further business to attend to in that locality. Unfortunately I did not have time to use the pool but judging by what I saw I would want to stay there again because of that facility.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn a few timesPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Hassle-free accommodation with friendly staff and leisure suite with swimming pool
Cons: Rooms need a little updating and tidying, although maid service excellent
Location: We were busy settling daughter into her accommodation for year two of her course
A convenient hotel in connection with our settling daughter into her accommodation arrangements for dancing college locally

Holiday Inn Rochester.Posted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: Its convenience to where we were going.
Cons: See above
Location: The roadway access is annoying as one has to travel past the hotel from Rochester and then turn back at the next roundabout to get to the entry point.
Hotel was clean and welcoming. The room was on the small side but was adequate for our needs (an overnight stay) The air vent in the interior bahroom did not work so it steamed up quickly when showering. The breakfast was good and the staff in the dining room were very pleasant and efficient.

Overall great stayPosted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Everything about the hotel was absolutely fine, except for the welcome from the initial receptionist who wasn't particularly helpful and rolled her eyes when we questioned her on something! Otherwise the other staff, actual room and facilities were very good and I'd return and recommend. We had 2 adults and 2 children in the room and cannot comment on breakfast as we went elsewhere.

Great value stopover hotel with plenty of extrasPosted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: The staff are lovely and obviously very well trained in customer service. The reception staff, restaurant staff and cleaners are all very polite.
Cons: The meal was absolutely lovely but the bar bill was very steep and came as a bit of a shock (£7.50 per glass of wine!) More info on pricing needed.
Location: The location was fine for us. Rochester Castle is quite impressive as a short excursion.
We used this hotel as a place to rest on the way back home from a driving trip in Europe. We were very pleasantly surprised by what we got for our £40 (prepaid) The rooms are clean and well-equipped, the pool area looked inviting ( we didn't have time to use it unfortunately). The late restaurant/bar times and late check out was a huge bonus for a tired and hungry family. An extremely comfortable night and another top 'Holiday Inn' experience.
